Bastion

I got the game in the recent Humble Bundle and now with a less-shit computer, I can actually play games. So I hear everyone raving about Bastion and decided to install it.

Beforehand I thought it was just some game with unnecessary popularity because it was indie or something. I mean people obsess over it.

That was until I loaded the game.

In about 5 seconds I was blown away. The artwork, narration, music, everything just came to together. It's a game that tries to be deep but actually succeeds. Just everything about the game oozes excellence.

Personally I'm not a large fan of isometric games like this since I seem to have some issues with depth perception and I always find the camera angles to be really awkward but it works here. It's not bad by any means and it's just an enjoyable way to push the plot, narration, and art.

I'm not too far into it but it's an excellent game. Well worth the $6 I paid for the Humble Bundle.

Agreed, I played it on the Xbox and didn't think much of it, I really had no idea why people got so hard for this game, it wasn't until I bought the HB that I found out how truly fun the game is. So far, its the game I've played most out of the bundle.

Same here, I love it. In fact after I played it I bought a second bundle at the games full price just because I liked it so much. Great Story and music plus the narration is so damn awesome.

See my avatar and signature. I absolutely love this game! I recently just fell in love with it again and have played it through for the fifth time. In fact, I got it in the bundle again and gave it to my girlfriend, who has become addicted also. My favourite game from last year and one that I will probably keep coming back to for a while.

Bastion is definitely one of my favorite games. It does a wonderful job of bringing you into the story and keeping you interested throughout the game. I wish there were more games like this on the market.

You lucked out, getting it for $6. When it first came out the average was like $8 and now the average is up to about $9.

Are you being serious, TehSkull? Its $3 and it does towards charity, the developers or the bundle organisers. I mean sure its good that you can get games on the cheap, but they are quality games and you certainly get more than even $20 worth of games for that.

I'm just saying. I always pay $10 anyway.

Tis a great game, but gets a bit repetitive for me. But im too used to getting new games as soon as im stuck...XD

I enjoyed it so much that one of the main reasons I brought the bundle wasn't to buy the game (I already owned it) but to get the superb soundtrack.
