Are Russians that desperate for new music?

Through a friend overseas I've gotten word that I've gotten radio airplay in Moscow.

To be honest, I'm not certain if it's true. It has happened before. (The airplay, that is). I was a bit more prolific back then, but also admittedly most of my songs were utter crap.

I like to think my quality and skill have improved.

So I put another 4 track EP up at Last.fm of older material, and will probably put another one up next week. Followed by a new 5 track at Bandcamp.

All for free, though if anyone wanted to pay at Bandcamp they're welcome to do so. I don't think I'd feel right about charging at Last.fm. That stuff is years old.

But, I digress. I've gotten airplay again. Hopefully. (Doubt it'll happen in the US. Obscure electronic music is rarely radio material, even for college stations.)

Remember that there is a pretty massive electronic scene in parts of Russia, and Moscow probably has a motherload of radio stations of different levels of authenticity (some more yo-ho-ho than others). Getting airplay might be unusual, but can you verify it happened?
