3DS XL Acquisition: The Hell Happened To Me?

Title says all. Got it last Thursday. I'm glad to have it. Had to wait a lousy week just to get the AceKard2i updated, but was well worth the wait. My only issue involves my eyes.

...Funny how you all would normally say that "the 3D messed up your eyes". To tell you the truth, besides all free downloads, I do not own one 3DS game, only because I had just enough for the handheld, bills, and food for the next two weeks. If anything, I use the 3D slider about 5-10% of the time. Primary usage has been the Internet Browser for Facebook. IIRC, the browser doesn't need the 3D slider unless viewing 3D photos. If I cover either eye, things are okay however.

Now, this doesn't apply to just the handheld, but to anything near me: keyboards, newspapers... my mobile phone even. No, my phone is not the HTC EVO 3D but the Samsung Fascinate (LONG LIVE SAMSUNG!!!). If I look off to the distance, I'm okay as well, but the main issue is that I am nearsighted. Glasses or no glasses, looking at things up close now makes everything... pop out. Seems silly, I know, but what if I told you that the letters pop out, like if they were a layer in the 3DS screen?

...Yeah. I'll be all right.

Yes I experienced this as did all my other 3DS friends the first time they played the 3DS. I was playing Super Street Fighter IV all day until the battery died. I looked at my screen, Facebook was open and the pictures and letters were all popping out. I thought this was really amazing. So much that I wanted to replicated it but to my dismay it is not possible, for me at least :\.
