I hate the USPS

Mike bought me an MP3 player 3 weeks ago (to be correct it was a Sansa Fuze+) and it still hasn't arrived. In fact to Mike also order several anime box sets at the same time. The box sets got to our place about 6 days later and they were all shipped from Arizona. So I wait and found out about a few days later that the MP3 player was shipped late because of a flood, I can deal with that.
Then Mike last Friday evening, bought some Yu-Gi-Oh cards online and they arrived today, that is about 1 day of shipping. So I got annoyed and emailed the guy we bought the MP3 player off of to find out what's taking so long and what state it's being shipped from. Turns out it's being shipped from Kentucky...Kentucky is less than an hour drive from my house. The guy could have driven it up here faster than it's being shipped.
I have shipped stuff from China, Japan, and Europe, that has taken less time to get my house then shipping from a state less than an hour away.

The same with Canada Post - I've bought stuff from UK, London, China/Shanghai/Beijing, and everything is terribly late from my own country. It is highly disturbing. :D

It's like, "Strange package from China with a vague description on it? Could be anything, but ship it anyway, they can deal with it when they get it.""Package from Amazon going from Kentucky to Indiana? THAT SHIT COULD BE A BOMB!!! SHIP ALL OVER THE COUNTRY TILL WE DETERMINE IF IT'S SAFE OR NOT!!!"

Try ordering something from the US to Canada via USPS.

I weep for my purchases.

Hope you get your package soon though lol.

I have ordered from Canada to the US and it got to my house (back in Massachusetts) in less than 3 days. It seems like ordering outside of the country is so much easier than ordering within the country.

Depends who you ship it by.

US Shipping is stellar if you avoid the landmines. I was so jelly when I bought my friend a headset...like free 2 day shipping. I cried a little since it costs me $20 for 3 day shipping usually...or more.

I normally ship with USPS and most of the time when I order in the states, they ship my package all over the country before it gets to me. Often times when I ship for outside of the US, it goes straight to my house in only a few days. I am not sure why they treat packages outside of the US with such respect, but the ones within are so questionable.

Things ship really quickly for me when I send stuff out that I sell. I've had my last package go from California to Florida in 3 days. And that's using the cheapest shipping method.

Yet when I want to order something and it comes from somewhere in the middle of the US (or sometimes even in my own state) it takes fucking forever.

I just received a package from Croatia today. I'm amazed the post office would even deliver it or could tell that it had been paid for.

most of the things I order online are from hong kong, so I'm used to waiting 3 - 6 weeks for things to arrive.

I still haven't gotten my package. Mail came and still not in there.
It has now been over two weeks since it was shipped from a state that is less than an hour away from my house.

Sucks. I hate the estimated arrival times they give you. I'm waiting for a couple packages right now coming from the same state in almost the same general area and one's estimated date is Oct. 4th while the other is Oct 5-Oct 9.

Try ordering a Wii game from South Korea that was shipped by boat initially and transferred to USPS after arriving at the USA -_-" (It took two months to get that game! But I suppose it was worth it. After all, it only cost 5 dollars to ship, while UPS wanted 30.)

G
ordered, ygo cards ? hmm, I only do this due to my brother always wanting to play and stuff, good to know I'm not the only one.

BTW: USPS really sucks, waited for an order from them forever, my personal USA Delivery chart:

TNT > DHL Express > FedEx > USPS

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
