Hey temp, haven't been online for a few days. Been busy with school. Decided to log in today to post an update.
So about a week ago, there were tryouts for the school's radio broadcasting team. I decided to list myself just like what I do every year, even if I know I won't really make it which is why I did not take it seriously. Well, just a few hours ago, I found out that I passed the tryouts with flying colors and I have no idea why that happened. There was someone who took the summer training and did not pass. That came off as a shock to me. It's been 3 years since I've been part of the school's broadcasting team. Last time they took me in, I was in 5th grade as a replacement for someone who wasn't able to come. I'm glad knowing I'm not a replacement this time around.
The day after that, the school's Student Government had interviews for applicants for the Student Government Associates. I was nervous as hell on this day. Nervous as fuck. I didn't know what shit they'll ask me. When my turn came up, every answer came up in my mind naturally. I was still nervous, but my mind somehow blocked it out. Next day came, I found out I passed with flying colors.
Monday came, election for class officers was starting. Me running as the class president started as a joke but it ended up anyways. Won with 23 votes with the other candidate getting 7 votes. I kinda felt sorry for her.
I didn't happen to audition for the school's debate team though. My voice was hoarse on the days of the auditions and it still is right now. It's getting a bit better but I can't think properly with this voice. I was supposed to audition with 2 other people. We were supposed to be a debate team but guess that dream is ruined. Guess there's still next year.
