I dont feel too bad since it can still be beaten by other pokemon, being hacked doesnt make it any stronger or better. 90% of Pokemon you battle online are hacked anyway lol

I do when it comes to certain games, especially online games. Hypothetically speaking, if I've invested alot of time and say, leveled a character up, and then I get my ass kicked by someone at level 65535 when there's a cap of like 200. that shit pisses me off. what is all the work for? what's the point of even playing when my progress is pointless?

Umm i just was curious about something, is "pay to win" games not really cheating right? Or is it, i mean i just not sure, you pay dearly for faster progress but usually those kinds of games are played online with others who maybe don't want to or can't "Pay to win" But you can't do anything about it. :unsure:

I'm not really a fan of the pay to win games, but I suppose it really comes down to the individual to decide if they want to play it or not. I do play one ptw game, vega conflict, but it's pretty balanced between players that pay to those that dont. individuals will gain from paying, but most of the gameplay requires teamwork. plus they have a device in the game that generates the cash currency over time. so even those that don't pay still get some of the pay perks if they invest a bit of time.

I'm not a fan of games that require online access to play period. I mean not that cause is multiplayer, there is single player free to play games but still require online access and have options of buying stuff. I just hate the idea of buying anything in a game with real money, dlc is one thing but the buy stuff just to speed up progress and purposely make game longer and slower to tempt one to either quit or pay is awful. :glare:

If a game is free, it should never be pressure to pay anything, unless is one time thing like DLC which adds content instead of just make your progress faster. That is probably like almost every mobile game for a cellphone. :P

I feel you on someone bypassing the rules of the game to profit but in the sense of my earlier example (pokemon) do you think thats wrong?

@CkyMomo if it's something like generating a pokemon that could legitimately be caught and trained, then I wouldn't really know it. I don't appreciate people that would do it, but it's not really a big deal. now, if I come across a team of shiney legendaries with perfect iv's and one hit ko move sets, that's another story.

Another thing that annoyed me. when dead island came out, I kept getting teamed up with people that would give me weapons with infinite durability and one hit kills. I don't like people cheating on my behalf either.

For me, if it ruins my gaming experience, I have an issue with. otherwise, I don't care what people do.

I can agree it takes a bit of the fun away but i guess it depends on who youre playing with and your goal loke borderlands for example me and me bro would go online just to find ppl with haxed guns so we could take them to out game and blow thru it with all the characters, not to win but just to have fun fucking shit up.

For pokemon, I think cheating is better than breeding countless pokemon just to get the perfect one in terms of ethics.

In terms of plot, you are far worse to breed pokemon than say whateber evil teams does. Sure they are imaginary, but if I am in a game, I am it in life.
