What sucks about this scene

So, I've mostly kept silent about it until now but due to the recent hacks I will say that this scene is really cringey, due to a group of edgy kids (among them there's even a respected developer) who keep doing things like this to me (hence the Luma3DS name change, actually).
I'll let these images speak for themselves (this was before the hacks actually took place): http://imgur.com/a/aweTG

@proflayton123 There was the hacking incident on "that ISO site" some months ago. IIRC they stored passwords as plaintext?

Talking about that stupid leak, can someone send me the leaks, I wanna see if I can find my account and my password, I remember I used a fake email, but I can't remember if I used a specific password related to some of my accounts.. I wanted to know if I need to change something

Same. I used two accounts and it says one of my emails got phished. If anybody finds it PM me.

Welp, I've already changed most of my passwords to random 64char passes anyway x.x, but I'd like to know what pass I used. I don't really remember.

That site isnt really easy to update to tell them "hey i fixed mine, please remove me until something happens again", so i don't really trust it anymore

@gnmmarechall I would do that if I remembered the passwords.
I don't trust any stupid password programs because either they can be exploited, or those passwords can be accessed...
I did the mistake of making Firefox remember my passwords, then I got RATd and all those passwords were sent to someone who stole my steam account...
Luckily I got most stuff back, but I will never again save my passwords in my computer.

I don't trust those robot password things, I don't know the people who created them, call me paranoid but they can have backdoors or store logs that can be exploited with

So my method is, have a cheap password for most websites like forums, have a special password for sensitive websites like PayPal Amazon etc.. (with data about my real person) and another special one for the email (since everything can be recovered with a simple email account)

@migles I used to have a simple pass, and now, for less important stuff, I use a very changed variation of it. Now, I randomly generate my passes, but I keep them safely stored, in a device with no internet connection.

Lots of popular personalities in "the scene" have been dissed and harrased because of jealousy or whatever at some point. Key is ignoring them. It may sometimes be hard, but they all will inevitably die down like this twitter account.
