What sucks about this scene

So, I've mostly kept silent about it until now but due to the recent hacks I will say that this scene is really cringey, due to a group of edgy kids (among them there's even a respected developer) who keep doing things like this to me (hence the Luma3DS name change, actually).

Sorry to hear that you had to deal with this. The scene can be very immature. Thankfully, a crackdown on the worst users seems to have begun.

That's exactly what's been happening as of late. Users like hacksn5s4 and Margen67 are examples of such users. They don't contribute to the scene and actively badger developers. It seems the mods have finally given up on trying to cater to these users as well. It's a good change, if a bit overdue IMO.

@Bedel Because they where indirectly involved at best, while Margen would go one-on-one and make it obvious that it was him who was doing it.

Dammit it all xD . Not to mention the few users affected by the other ISO site that got hacked due to emails and passwords being shared across the two sites and the IP addresses that were leaked on ( 4chan I believe ) from many users on here. I hope this shit stops

There was a recent leak from one certain user on here who also leaked random IP addresses. I was told and from friends and they took care of him I believe

This just in! Hacking scense of today are shit and runned just for efame, epen stroking and paypal and lastly by "kids" for the most part. More news at 11. This was TheGuy from channel 5 on WTFinternet news.

IMO the only thing you should take away from this is that obviously your tools are superior or people wouldn't be trying to hack your private repos to "clone" them (and by clone I mean steal). If I were you, I would send them a big middle finger and take it with a grain of salt. It's clear they see your abilities as an insult to their own lack thereof. I wouldn't stress it, just do you; whatever that may be. :D

Alright, this has gone on too long now.

Nothing fruitful will come out of this any more. Everything that could be said have been said, several times.
We allowed this for a while, because it's a blog. We have gotten some reports, but not nearly as many reports as users writing "stop posting, lawl".
Let this rest for a while. Please. Go back to your ordinary lives and stop talking shit against each other. And no one should claim they're neutral as long as they're actively discussing this topic.
