Worst optimized game on the DS

I know I'm 9 years late to the party, but Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles runs horribly.
  • The 3D looks like something from DOS. It's all blocky. I know the DS isn't that powerful, but I've seen plenty of better looking games.
  • The textures look strange, though that may just be my 3DS's upscaling
  • The framerate is the really bad part. It averages around 20, and drops to about 5 during battles. Which makes it fairly hard to control. Of course, it's by Ubisoft, so that explains it.

Are you sure? That game is known for being a mess with horrible framerate issues and disappearing textures. Oh, also, there's a multiplayer mode that crashes the DS.

I played and beat the first Assassin's Creed for DS. It wasn't the greatest game for DS but it was far from the worst.

@Elysium420, I also had the GameCube version, so maybe my brain is remember the better experience for both.

The other versions are fantastic, while the DS version is goddamn awful. Actually, awful is an understatement here. I can't express my displeasure.

There was that atv 2 in 1 game I once played. It was awful. Pixels were sized like bricks, the framerate was disgusting, and the game ran like shit too. They even dared to put loading screens!

Only if you compare it to the REmake versions. Compared to the original, it runs great, probably the best any version runs. You can even skip past the door screens since the DS doesn't need the load time.

    I've been to his chicken restaurant he started in his 2nd movie, Holy Chicken, was pretty good. It is only 15-20 miles from me in Ohio. It only lasted 1 yr or so then closed tho.

    There are very few people I just have just an immense dislike of and he's one of those very few people, the only other example is Gene Simmons. My musician uncle on my mother's side of the family actually met Gene once during some event and said he was the most unpleasant person to be around.
