Good modern cartoons?

So Im a big fan of modern cartoons, especially the ones not aimed mainly at adults, although I love myself some Rick and Morty. Almost everything is between seasons right now though and I am barely scraping by. Does anyone have recommendations of high quality, preferably modern cartoons I should check out? Not looking for anime at the moment.

Shows I have already watched and liked:
Star vs the Forces of Evil
Steven Universe
My Little Pony
Gravity Falls
Over the Garden Wall

I watched the first episode and it was pretty good, but I was thinking I might want to watch the old series first since I barely remember it from when I was a kid.

How modern are you talking about? How far back? I don't watch tv that much anymore. That last modern cartoon I saw was Legend of Korra. I saw it all the way through and it was pretty good. Not as good as the original Avatar but it was cool. I guess its Anime, American anime, don't know if that counts.

If we talk about 90s cartoons than I can talk about it all day.

Yeah, as much as the "elitists" want to say otherwise, Avatar is 90% (American) Japanese-styled anime down to the tropes.
I think for a long time already the only "cartoons" I've been watching are Rick&Morty and Southpark, no idea what else is there of value lately, perhaps... no, no idea really, too much disconnected.

God I loved that show The Last Airbender. The only reason why I say I can talk about 90's cartoons is not because I don't like new shows, its because I haven't seen any.

I do hear that modern shows are getting better because of norms that are being broken, plots that haven't been delved into like past cartoons. Its was all thanks to 90s cartoons breaking the mold.

Batman the Animated Series made Gravity falls and Steven Universe possible (I haven't seen these shows though). Kind of like how super hero movies are going to the rated R territory. Like with Logan.

Holy crap, TIL Samurai Jack is back on. Gotta watch that stuff and take a trip to memory lane.

I've watched the first few seasons of adventure time but didn't click with the humor style, it was too crude or lol random. Should I stick with it? I've seen regular show and gumball back when I watched CN but never watched them through. And id take some 90s recommendations.

Don't think samurai jack counts as modern since it originally started back in the year 2001. Also "good" is subjective. If it doesn't matter if it's geared towards kids or adults then these are some i consider "good".

Bojack Horseman, We Bare Bears, Archer, Rick and Morty, Bob's Burgers, and The Amazing World of Gumball are ones off the top of my head.

I think they're referring to season 5 of samurai jack, which just started a few months ago. I've seen Rick and Morty and love it, and a good bit of gumball but not anything past the first few seasons since I stopped watching CN.

Modern cartoons...

South Park
The Simpsons
Dragon Ball Super
One Punch Man

These are the shows I've been watching recently. Well, at least the ones that aren't on pause for a new season.

Okay, The Batman the Animated Series. Harvey Dent is a psychopath in that one, crazier that the live action movies. He has a multiple personality disorder in that one, a true cwazy guy.

Animaniacs, this one is funny and cleverly written.

And X-Men, Rouges accent is very sexy, she has this long southern drawl, she's not as useless as in the live action movies.

Here's some Animaniacs. The jokes they got away with in a kids show.

I think most are missing some relevant part of the OP. Even though he enjoys Rick and Morty, he is looking for cartoons "especially the ones not aimed mainly at adults". So BoLshit Horseman and South Park don't really make the cut.

Dora la Seductora /s
How the hell do those youtube freaks come up with those things,
PS: In Spanish, Dora Explorer's name rhymes: Dora la Eploradora,
in a stupid joke some people created something called Dora la Seductora,
loosely translating to Dora Temptress, and made up a youtube series,
well, they later came up with more awful concepts keeping the rhyme,
just for the LOLs and fully animated.
