I really like these RPG turn based games that give you time to think... even better if they have some visual novel features (I would say FE is the most alike).

My favourite game for this reason is "Ar tonelico" from PS2. The OST is absolutely awesome too.

I give everything a chance, even if I'm just playing with the physics, finding glitches, reading signboards, checking out anatomical structures, architecture, sound effects, lighting/shading, whatever--I like to see how much work went into the title, or lack of.

Getting stuck in Shin Megami Tensei would be pretty enjoyable, but you run a severe risk of dying a horrible death and having no play coins to revive yourself.

Currently, I'm playing a lot of Wii U games (virtual console and eshop included) and 3DS games. A lot.

If you like Pokémon and dark atmospheres, definitely look into SMT:IV & A. Then come back for Soul Hackers if you like that 90's sci-fi computers-can-do-anything-including-steal-your-soul-and-summon-demons feel. If you've got a Wii U, check out SMT/TMS#FE--it's different, but it's a good one-time-play RPG.

@H1B1Esquire those are great suggestions. i recently tried out a sin megami game on the nds. i put it in my dstwo device other day. (completely ad forgotten about it) that thing is addictive. definitely going to try te others on the 3ds.and playcoins?? any game with feature is pretty cool. love it. ive always felt they needed more games with that added. i dont have a wii u yet but ive seen alot of games on it id love to try out.

i totally agree with ya i tend to try about anything out. one game i still play on ps2 besides rogue galaxy is star ocean and its always a good one to come back to.

@BlueFox gui sonic games are good. definitely on my list. i just havent decded on which to try. i havent played on since those on the gamecube with the chaos tho.

@Arubaro hi hi. nice choice. i do love rpgs. and jrpgs. im absolutely addicted to both. lol. ive tried the ar tornelico once but never got to sit and really play it through. (wasn't my copy of the game and couldn't find one either at the time) man the things you miss out on due to peoples stubborness to share.

Shadow of the Colossus is the ONLY game i would ever recommend. It is a MASTERPIECE. I urge you, PLAY IT NOW!! Please, you will be doing yourself a great service. Its short too so there is that...

SotC is definitely a classic, and holds up very well today. My first time playing it was with the PS3 HD remaster about 2-3 years ago, so I don't have any nostalgia towards it, and I certainly recommend it.

But as far as my favorite game goes, nothing has even come close to touching Tales of Vesperia (the PS3 edition). It's the game of games to me.

If you're playing Strange Journey, Soul Hackers is pretty similar. SMT IV/A are a little different, but still just as good. Oddly, SMT IV uses play coins to revive yourself on the River Styx, while SH uses coins to buy new demons. I guess play coins would have taken off if there wasn't a legitimate ten-coin/300-coin limit.

If you like Star Ocean, the one on X360 was good, but it always feels like everyone is turning to stone. If you still PS2, Arc the lad is pretty good, as well as Wild Arms 3 or 4 (the western one), Katamari Damacy, Okage, Dark Cloud, The Bouncer, Zone of the Enders, and that other hack n' slash SMT with Raidou.

If you're still trying to attain Sonic speed, there is nothing comparable to the Adventure days. Colors is better than Secret Rings and Wack Knight; Generations is better than 4. Your faith can be renewed in Mania.

I still can't believe they thought Sonic needed to do fairy tales, but I guess Unleashed made as much sense. A werewolf-hedgehog. I would have rather seen Dark Super Sonic, Ultra Tails, Mega Knuckles&Knuckles, Radiant Amy, Bro-Bro Chao, Samurai-Ninja Espio, Thin Robotnik, Mrs. Eggman, or Princess Sally.

well i wanted to play the game, i can't have a good PC or wii, both are expensive sooo

I like story driven games; Beholder, steam world heist, and competetive games, like sm4sh, Speedrunners, and maybe pokemon.
