Apple is the Rolex of tech. People buy it for the status symbol. It doesn't matter how overpriced and crappy it is.

Or if they are not gamers. iMacs can be great for professionnals, given the price of similar screens.

Oh.... well, thought this was about fruit.... I mean I like apples, apple cider, apple pie, apple jacks cereal.... But why does all "Apple" products have a picture of a apple that someone ate already? Is it anything like the "Bite of the big apple" Is a insult to Us New Yorkers.

I love my apple stuff, but for goodness sakes. I'm trying to back up my E3 pictures with iPhoto and it might as well be as excruciating and easy as doing a backflip nosedive into a glass of water.

Someone should make a video saying, "this is what I think of apple." They eat an actual apple and take a shit. Then they say pointing at the shit, "thats what I think of you."

First of all, all of this comments just make me feel good! They made me laugh and agree and disagree with some things. I never mentioned anything on Apple about the hardware being crappy! I could care less about how well my phone runs things! I use it solely as a way to communicate for work/family, and listening to music. Yes, I do love android more, but I didn't have any other choice but to an iPhone when I did because at the time I was in an exchange program in Japan for college, and the choices I had for a phone were either Apple, or some Sony phone, and I'm like, "eh, I'll stick to their consoles." So that's why I have an iPhone. Also, I DO have a backup of my iPhone! I actually made it 6/15/2017, but apparently backups don't store your music. It's nice to hear some people's opinion, and other people go completely off the wall about Apple! In the end, it is probably user error, but I just think of it as unfair that it "synced" my library but deleted it. Syncing should only sync music that isn't in the library to the phone, not delete it all. PLUS, and didn't even sync the music I own on my computer to the phone! It's even in my iTunes library! It's all legit music too by the way! Last album I purchased was Mothership by Dance Gavin Dance

@Oleboy555 I havent used it for work so I cant argue but people assure that Macs, for work are the best you can do (graphical design, video editiong, architecal design)... But well, I have and preffer a Windows or a linux.

@Felek666 If you are into servers, linux is great, but saying that linux can be better tha a windows in server terms... I am not sure if I can agree. Try Windows Server 2012 or 2016 and you will see what potential can a Windows Server have.

@mbcrazed That's quite strange, because I think that you can set your iCloud accound to store music. Anyway, when I say "professionals", I wasn't saying "developpers".I was talking about the picture, movies, etc. side of the thing. But anyways, that's sure Apple is far from being the best (besides tablets, since this market is pretty much dead). But Apple products are far from being the most overpriced shit out there. I suggest everyone who thinks Apple is overpriced to see the orices for the Surface products, which are even more ridiculous ($3,000 for an i5-U and Intel Graphics? Seriously Microsoft?). Next to the Surface Book, even the Razer Blade laptops seem cheap.

I have tried one of those surfaces a while ago (I think it was the first version of the surface while the second one was in development) and I wouldn't buy it, but it is an interesting product. Overpriced, for sure, but an interesting product.

Android isn't poorly optimized. It's the shitty bloatware and custom UIs.. Like what LG and Samsung implement. Stock Android phones.. Like the Pixel and the Nexus are virtually lag free. iPhones bring a locked down ecosystem.. Hell, up until a few years ago, getting a controller to work on an iOS device was a chore. They also are overpriced for what you're actually getting.

Battery life is average at best. Lightning port headphones? Thanks Apple. Everybody loves proprietary adapters and dongles. I also love how they circumvented the mandatory universal plug in by offering a shitty adapter. Cool. I also love the security holes people find in iOS devices. The date, locking down a phone with a text message. Yeah, iPhones are great.

Still no expandable memory options, outside of... ADAPTERS AND DONGLES. Now, before you spout the usual "nobody needs that much storage on a phone!"... Between photos, documents, games and videos? You'd be surprised at how fast the internal fills up. Also, can we talk about iTunes? Oh my god, the amount of work you have to do to keep your library completely intact is just too much. May not seem like a lot of steps, but it's tedious.

Friendly tip! There is this program called "Copy Trans Manager." It's like iTunes but without all of the BS. It's Free it's SUPER easy, and you don't have to go through iTunes. If you have a Windows computer, I recomend it

I use Apple phones, (my family basically get all their contracts with iPhones and it's family sharing so we're all in contact) and personally get on fine with them. I don't try and do things like jailbreak (although I did once with an old phone I didn't use, iPhone 5C) and the only thing I've done without using specific apple recommended methods, was install Snapchat ++ without Cydia.

Phones are honestly based on personal preference and what you use them for is your preference. If Apple phones work best for you, then that's for you. If Samsung is better suited for you, then that's your preference. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I also use Apple because their camera quality, sure some Samsung phones have nice quality also, but from what I've used, Apple is what I've always stuck with.
