Sonic sprite in toei style

so i had the idea of draw some sonic sprites but using Toei Animation style they made for Sonic CD opening, i just started so i want to know what you guys think!

ofc this isn't finished yet, and i will probably change it a lot and who knows delet and re-draw again, because for real it's not that bad, but it's not that good, i'm trying to make the sprites looks like the art style but i can't do it

Is this your first time drawing pixelart?
That looks pretty decent, far better than my pixelart efforts.
I'd say it looks good enough to put in a game, there are games with simplistic art like this such as Undertale.
Though Sonic seems to be missing his arms :P

no it's not my first time, but i don't make so much pixel arts, also i will draw the arms in another layer, this tool is like flash i can use layers and animate frame by frame, i want to animate it

if you really want you just need to practice, you probably already heard that but i will say again, you learn with failing, you learn trying, if you don't try you can't learn

if you want actual advice on proper Sonic spriting, I'd suggest joining the SFGHQ Discord, bunch of people who made very impressive Sonic fangames over there, they know what they're talking about

Awesome! I do love Toei animation's style in the Sonic CD animation and with Yu-Gi-Oh season 0, even if the animation in YGO is a bit crudely done :')

UPDATE, now i animated it, it's not so good but it's just the beginning, also sorry for the low resolution, i couldn't resize it :/
