my little knowledge of 3ds hax

I'm not completely a noob, I've hacked plenty of systems, but what exactly is the difference between a primary exploit and a secondary exploit? I know that you need a primary exploit for installing secondary exploits, but what else is there that I'm missing?

Primary exploits are exploits that can be installed without needing some form of hax prior to installing them. Secondary Hax requires some form of hax to already be installed to install them.

Well I can give you some examples for reference.
A primary exploit can be SoundHax while secondary is such as MenuHax or Udsploit.
