something something about girls

Woah finally a blog that isn't a joke? Damn

Ok so this blog post is going to be on a whim, as Gbatemp was kinda down last night.

I went to a highschool event after school, it was pretty cool. But there is also this girl I likes that went to it also. Near the end where we go onto the football field to watch the game. I start breaking the ice and it goes alright. As I am walking to the field the girl and her friend catch up with me. We talk about classes and such. Then the girl I like says "Ya know Vincent, I love having you in Algebra, you're so nice!". I also have her friend in my speech class so she says something along the same line. Her friend is also in my Algebra class.
And this wasn't even coming from a place where I do their homework or something. I just talk to them in those classes.

So a few minutes later we get on the seats. The girl is sitting in front of me and the friend is sitting next to me. The friend is on her phone talking to her boyfriend, somethings going on or whatever. The friend says "WOW did he really just hang up on me?". Me trying to be comedic or whatever just chimes in and says Yes. I get some laughs but then the guy on the phone must of asked who was that because the friend said "Just a boy sitting next to me". Then the girl I like leans closer to her friend and says "that sexy boy next to you." I don't react as I don't think I was suppose to hear that.

So the game goes on and her and her friends talk about homecoming (more girls came later on). They get on the topic of her and she says something like "Well i'm just waiting for somebody to ask me" They make a joke like "Just keep saying hey to him everyday until he asks you". And the thing is, I met her by her saying hey to me in my Algebra class. She's said hey to me ever since.

This girl in particular has been going across my mind for a while now. i just don't know what to do. I would have to have brain damage to not see the signs, right? I want to ask her for homecoming. I also want some other input, as i don't want to talk to my mother about girls and my grandfather is working all week. One thing that really got me was I couldn't see him last weekend.

Alright there goes another blog.

Quick warning my mom gave me once: Girls can be mean. She could be pretending, just to break you later. She gave me that advice after a situation not unsimilar to yours where a girl I was friendly towards started displaying behavior not unsimilar to the girl in your story (constantly talking about romantic stuff when I was nearby to her friends). I decided not to act on it.

I'm not saying she's lying or faking it to you, but be careful if you decide to agree with it. Of course, if she's being honest, well... ignore anything I said about that.

"I really like bunnies, they're so nice!"

That was the first thing that shot through me mind.

Tons of girls asked me, they all got rejected.
I don't feel sorry for them, nor should I treat them any differently.
In the end, they all knew I was a homo after all.

Spider-man? Peter? Is that you?

Just ask her out. It's better to ask her rather than regretting it later... in life. :P

If I were you, I'd ask. Worst thing that could happen, she says no. It will hurt maybe but you'll get over it and you'll have some valuable life experience. If she says yes, then great!

I mean it sounds like she's dropping hints. Just ask her to Homecoming and have a dance with her, see if you enjoy the night together and if so ask if she wants to go on a date sometime

She seems to be interested in you.

I say ask her. If she says no then, handle it maturely I guess and leave it at that. She seems to be dropping hints so¿

Take it from a girl lolol

Dude, i know it may seem tough to ask out some girl that likes you. But just go over and talk to her, even if your gut has the weirdest feeling when you go closer to her. I know many people in my school who hang out with girls but they havent even asked them out because they're too afraid. So just ask her out and that feelimg in your gut will be vanquished.

You have to break all the cards and be brave here, its the only way.
But I know how tough it is, despite having a bf now I was in love with this russian chick 2 years ago and she even broke my heart, regardless I had the courage to ask her out and break the ice.

I would definitely go for it, always be ready for the pain of rejection, but regretting not asking is the worst option.

That was pretty much my first "girl friend" in the beginning of high school, and i was stupid not to see the signs leading up to it x3

We have a saying in Portuguese that goes like this: ''The answer ''No'' is always guaranteed''
Meaning that you should be expecting a 'No', so a 'yes' is a delight surprise.

I am coming from somewhat personal experience, not the same thing, but something like it.

My advice is to ask, She says no, thats her fault, who wouldn't want a geek for a bf?
Don't wallow in sallow, Maybe think about it a little bit, but take it maturely (not like a man, man can be stupid af)

She says yes, Be a gentleman, Chivalry, should be your virtue.

Legit though, Treat every woman like a gentle man, So if you brake up, it won't be your fault.

What's there to lose? Just go in with a pessimistic outlook but an optimistic tone. If you get rejected just shrug it off or something and walk off, if you get a yes then uh.. do something you would do, I don't know you well xd

There's only one solution to this.

Don't go to homecoming. It's what I did, and it worked out fine for me. :tpi:
