Switching to Google Pixel 2: The iMessage Problem.

All my apps are currently cross platform besides iMessage which is so good that every time I try to switch to android I go back to iOS solely for iMessage. I am currently trying Telagram. Do any of you have suggestions on what I could do to make the transition easier?

Facebook Messenger does all of what iMessage can do and more. GIFs? Check. Text messaging? Check. Wifi messages (thru FB)? Check. Plus, you can play games with others, share location, split payments at a restaurant, create group chats, set appointments, etc. etc. etc.

You really need to explain what it is about iMessage that you find lacking in other apps before a suitable alternative can be suggested

I just like how it works its simple, clean, I like the stickers, the games, the syncing of messages they payments just everything.

Facebook messenger does all that: it's got stickers, it's got games, it's got payments (including group payments), and "simple/clean" is subjective so just google a screenshot of FB messenger and see if how it looks pleases you.

Ok well I can't help you because the only messenger I use is WhatsApp, precisely because it *doesn't* have stickers, games and payments... But now you've said what you need out of a messenger, hopefully somebody else can help. Line is very popular where I live, and I know it has stickers at least.

I'll give it a shot. I mean all my friends are also on fb so its not like i have to ask them to join a new message service

I think you'll like it! It should at the very least do everything you were used to doing in iMessage. Hopefully that allows you to make the transition to Android easier.

Shit I am going to to my 5X this weekend to start, I am going to unroot it and everything. If all goes will I should be on the pixel 2 by november.
