What do you guys think is a fair price?

The time has finally come to kiss my Wii U goodbye. Super Mario Oddysey has won the battle. I'm selling my ENTIRE Wii U 'collection'. I'm asking you guys what would be a fair price for the following:
(All games include boxes and manuals - Perfect Condition)
  • Wii U Deluxe 32GB Console + Gamepad - With Box/Stands/Sensor Bar - Like New Condition
  • 4 Wii Remotes - Includes Covers/Wrist Straps - Perfect Condition
  • 2 Nunchuks - Perfect Condition
  • Wii Balance Board - Like New Condition
  • New Super Mario Bros U.
  • Nintendo Land
  • Lego City Undercover
  • Super Mario 3D World
  • Mario Kart 8
  • Super Smash Bros.
  • Super Mario Maker - Includes Idea Book
  • Splatoon
  • Mario Party 10
So what do you guys think is a fair price. I'm planning to get a Nintendo Switch and MK8, Splatoon 2 (Maybe), 1-2 Switch and Super Mario Oddysey.

Did you buy any game that wasn't made by nintendo besides lego city? :ninja:

Also since nintendo land was bundled with the deluxe, you should keep those as one cost.

@Sonic Angel Knight None which were disks. I did buy non-Nintendo games, but I bought them digitally, too bad I can't resell them! Otherwise I'd have to sell my NNID too.

@Sonic Angel Knight But then again, the Wii U had almost zero 3rd party support. (None worth getting up and going to Gamestop)

No idea... Perhaps 250-300.
I wouldn't sell my Wii U with collection though, I have too many games I haven't yet beaten.

@sarkwalvein I made sure to beat every level, just finished Octo Valley in Splatoon last week, plus unlocked all weapons. Only game I really "didn't finish" was Super Mario Maker, but there is no real story in that game anyway.

Then time to sell! I don't think you could ask much for all together as it is a dead system already, but... well, it is a dead system so it is a good idea to get rid of it anyway.

Nintendo sells refurb for about $200.00
Game$top sells used for $200.00
Ebay lists from $150.00-too much money.
Game$top will pay you $48.00 (cash) or $60.00 (credit)

Some of the games you have held their value, but Nintendo Land is 0.99¢.

Personally, I'd hold on to it, Use DDD, then sell the games bundled together. I guess you reaaaaaally want Switch, so the best thing you could do would be to sell the system with 4 motes/2 nunchuks, and all the games (except SSB4 and MK8; sell those as a separate bundle for $70.00.) for $250-$325.00. Start high and see if anyone bites, but keep $250.00 as your last resort because stuff like this happens:

The WII U is one of those systems that will sell for close to its original price. That of-course is due to several reasons, but i like that about the system from a sellers perspective.

However, i still need to buy one, so i am on the other side of the scale and thus dreading the amount of cash that i will need to throw at this. Man i keep wishing Ninty lower the price to £100 - £150 now but nope £250 is where its at. I plan on picking a Wii U up via Ebay in the coming year since #1 it will likely be on a firmware that can be exploited and #2 it will be cheaper.

I dont mind spending money on consoles but for the price of the Wii U, i would rather get a PS4 or XI.

Now in regards to your system aykay55, i think it will sell for £300+ if you plan on selling it on Ebay or some online selling site. IF you intend on selling it in-store then prepare to get screwed. Game stores love paying wayyy less than it is worth hence why i prefer selling systems via Ebay rather than in store.

Gamestop near me is selling used Wii U systems for 249.99 and brand new Switch units for 299.99. Gee, which one do I want!? A dead system that hasn't dropped in price since launch...only Nintendo.

@aykay55 Well regardless, i dont like spending close to retail price for a dead system. Especially when my money could be spent elsewhere like on a PS4.

@BlueFox gui i knew it! I saw your post somewhere else on the forum stating how expensive stuff is in your country. So yeah those prices for a Wii U is ridiculous. At least i now my country doesn't sell them for those prices. I could be worse haha

lol
and just for you know, this is half of the release price, my country had the most expensive OFFICIAL release price in the world, nintendo's official price at the release was $800

Damn! Brazil is also one of the most highly taxed countries I've heard. Lol move to Mexico, then cross into Texas!
