I don't like winter

as the title says, I don't really like winter. it's usually viewed as a snowy delightful time, but down in Louisiana, it's just a damp, cold season. ugh

Wut? I can't just put on a sweater to cool off like I can with the cold.
The cold is easy to combat. Just wear some warmer clothes, and heating a room is much easier than cooling it off. I can wear a warm outfit outside and be fine, in the summer I could be naked with a shade umbrella and it'll still be torture outside.

Sweaters are sometimes not enough in the cold weather, and in nights it makes it hard to sleep. At least A/C's are more common in house holds than heaters. I guess it depends on the location and personal ability to fight it of, I personally shiver when the first sign of cold comes while I am being made fun of by family for not resisting it while they also complain when I use the maximum of heat for a shower and leaving it steamy.

Why?
You dont feel like doing anything when your too hot,
You won't die, You won't faint.

You can warm your self up easily without anything else (Like walking, or doing exercise), you cannot easily Cool yourself down.

@DeoNaught you see, down in the south, 3/4 of the year is very hot. on the 1/4 when it's cold, since we're so used to the hot, we dont have any way to heat ourselves up due to not being used to the cold.

really tho, it's because i can just stay inside all day with the A/C on full blast, the heaters dont work very well over here

Yet I agree that winter is a very boring season if you life somewhere you (almost) never get snow. That's just like autumn without a forest around.

I like how when summer was here I wanted winter, and now that winter is here, I want summer, like is spring the ultimate season?

Hmm... I do track and cross country, and whenever it gets cold at all, half the time I'll get migraines and the other half I'll just be much slower in my times.

105 fahrenheit is what I'm used to. I don't like winter either, but I do like the snow.

i live in Israel so for me winter is a bless. i hate summer. it's always 35-40 Celsius (95-104 Fahrenheit).

I used to hate the heat of summer as a kid/teen/early college and I would look forward to the brisk, refreshing air of winter every year. That being said, since losing a lot of weight, I've become much more sensitive to cold and tolerant of even the heats of Florida's summers. In fact, winters in northeastern America for me cause my fingers to go very painfully numb even in thickly padded gloves, so winter has quickly become an unpleasant time for me when it reaches its lowest temperatures. :sad:

@Meteor7 I know what you mean I only weigh 95 lbs, and while I live in the American Southwest, It gets very cold in New Mexico this time of year, especially in a desert over a mile high.
