Why i refuse to buy (ultra) moon / sun

1. It is Literally a Remake of last year except these lazy bums just put (ultra) glitter on it. and even their previous remakes were a billion times more better example (heartgold, soulsilver)
2.z-moves are boring barely use them and they add no real content to the game its literally just an extra move for that Pokemon
3.this is a DLC of sun and moon

At this point in my own opinion Nintendo has stopped making these games for the original fans of the franchise and is just targeting children that haven't developed yet, all for the sake of money. yet this franchise has so much potential but they refuse to give the fans what they want.

You know what site you're on right? If you're not a fan of this gen's 3rd entries, don’t buy it, and just download the .cia and enjoy it for free. There really isn't anything to complain about here, gen 8 will still come soon enough.

i agree but at the same time i disagree because my complaint is towards Nintendo lack of creativity and underhanded money scheme methods i feel like they put in a gay fashion designer to be in charge of this remake

TBH, I quite disappointed too... Sun and Moon got out only a year ago, so redoing the same game is quite boring. It doesn't feel like the usual third version, and it's not a sequel like Black 2 / White 2. And I heard that the new content (Rainbow Rocket and everything) was post Elite 4 (can someone confirm this ?). So basically, it's some kind of update or enhanced version of Sun and Moon, with a lot of things that should have been there in the first iteration (like catching alpha pokémons). They advertised it like a whole new game, then they said that it was like the usual third version (btw, there's usually a 2 years gap between them, not one year), but if I recall correctly, there was some kind of Pokemon game (Pokémon Stars ?) which is supposed to be in development for Switch, and was supposed to be the third one (correct me again if I'm wrong)

I just did some quick research and it seems like Nintendo was just treating this game like a benchtest and it looks like the new main pokemon games are moving from the ds to the switch here is the proof Quoted straight from them

"When we were making Pokemon X and Y, we really were trying to push the 3DS system to its absolute limits - which is what we thought we’d done. But when Sun and Moon came around, we completely redesigned the system, and actually ended up pushing the 3DS even further to what we thought was the most we could draw out of it."
"With Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon," explains Ohmori, "we’ve tried to eke that out more and really, really push the system to its absolute limits, and we’re now feeling that perhaps this is the maximum of what we can get out. So we’re really treating Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon as the culmination of our work with the 3DS system."

That's just marketing gibberish IMO.

nintendo have always said this would just be an alternate story / version of Sun and Moon. if you're not interested don't buy it. I personally loved Sun and Moon so much I can barely wait to play this. my preload is ready. all these new additions are making me super excited, there is nothing I have disliked about them so far.

this honestly feels like the usual third version we're all used to, except they released it in two packages this time. y'all mad over nothing.

I'm generally not anymore interested in Pokémon, but it looks like the series developed further since my "Pokémon time". I can understand the point for people who played the games last year, but the last entry I played was White 1. Soooo I think I'll just check it out and then see if I want to buy it and dig into it.

It is obvious this will be the last Pokemon release for 3ds, the 3ds life cycle is almost finished and there have been already 4 main releases, (X Y, AS OR, S&M and US&UM)

Yeah, nintendo do doesn't make the pokemon games. Game freak does. Also, it's a completely different story line when it comes to the new villains, ultra space, and legendaries. I already know you're going to pirate the game just so you can feel superior for trying to play a "dlc" game.

Cool. Enjoy not owning the last Pokemon game for the 3DS.

Good for you I guess.
I'm guessing you're just gonna pirate it anyway.

As a sidenote: I'm surprised to see so many people upset about USUM when there weren't that many (that I know of) when B2W2 came out.

It does have some more polish than SuMo but it doesn't feel like it's worth a new game. Certainly not full price either.

Though quite frankly, NONE of the third games have been all that different. Crystal did some storyline changes and added Krys, Emerald gave us the battle frontier but was more or less the same game. Black/White 2 were full on sequels. Granted I'm not at the post game stuff so I dunno how improved it is, but for all the hype that it got, it doesn't seem any more special than a third game. (And certainly doesn't deserve two seperate versions)

I bought digital version of X, AS, M from shop. but for USUM, I really don't won't buy it after playing the cia. To be honest it is too boring.

You can't expect much when they say it's an alternate story, I'd say mainly it's for people who haven't played Sun/Moon as it just adds little things that add up (Roto Lotto, new forms, new UB, catch legends, Team Rocket post-game, eases on the cut scenes and "spoon-feeding").

barely adds more post game the only major post game thing is rainbow rocket which did not take me long to take out my pokemon were overleveled though.

I agree with everything you said except "this franchise has so much potential". I think they've already milked the crap out of it so its potential has long been used up.
