May give up waiting for homebrew.

Very sorry if this seems like the wrong area for this, I couldnt tell where this question fell in the switch category.

Like the title says, I may give up on homebrew for 4.1.0. Why id be doing this is because im planning on getting Splatoon 2 very soon but if I cant update the game on a lower firmware (just like you cant download games from eshop) I will like previously stated give up on waiting.

Tho no one really knows, good chance nintendo will ban everyone from online who plays "backups".

That's of course your own personal choice, You either wait or not. totally up to you. if you want to play games on your switch and it's your daily driver, update.

Echoing what others have said don't expect to go online with CFW, even for games you've bought legitimately. And even if you are able to go online be prepared for a ban.

Some people have no interest in online so this isn't an issue but since you mentioned Splatoon 2 it's something to take into consideration.

yep give up and get a shield tv you'll thank me later when your playing all your emus at full speed :P

You can do whatever you want with your Switch as you please, you pay for it.

But making a pointless post regarding your inner drama here is just UNHOLY as hell. No one cares about your struggle with your game console.
