Public Vs Nintendo

Nintendo has certainly done great with trying to prevent hacking and CFW. Also the little NinTit suckers who are always on here trying to bash Homebrew and CFW are greatly appreciated. But that won’t stop our community from getting smarter and better, they can work hard but we will work harder

What's funny is you thought you had a chance. As nintendo devices like the 3ds and switch have a wifi function that can't be turned off even if ur not connected. It's a port that is used when it's being produced to test functionality. When the law passes that will allow console makers to target users for illegitimacy they can brick ur device instead of banning it. Sure they can attack piracy. But the more people the easier to persuade to pass that law into effect. Though hey it's not like most people who hack the 3ds don't have multiple 3ds's. :thinking:

You reckon? Better than they have done in the past certainly but based on what I have seen thus far I would not be in a hurry to hire anybody with "Switch security team" on their CV.
Only way I can see it being considered any kind of good is if Nintendo downplayed things because they reckon a moderate amount of hacking does well for them.
