Not gonna spoil, but you're missing a huge chunk of the story by not playing FES instead.

I saw the four hour cutscene of the FES version because a lot of people the me that i didn't need to play the game on the ps2 too.

Anyway , i get it that the player dies because he used his own life force to seal nix , and he died shortly after the meeting at the rooftop with the other SEES members in the arms of aigis , a sad ending Indeed.

I played a few hours of the Portable version but I like FES better. The cutscenes are really cool and well done for 2006. The full feel necessary after you played P3P, but I actually like it more. The end wrecked me. Very nearly cried, and felt depressed for a week. Had to start P4G immediately. Watching "The Answer" on youtube might help but it doesn't fix anything.

Persona 3 was pretty good (Played Portable as well) but in my opinion doesn't stand quite as tall as 4 and 5. Definitely recommend going to play Persona 4 and 5.
