I won First Place, Smash Ultimate Tourney

Good mornig to everyone, the last saturday i won my first tourney with my Ken, i feel good, i'm looking forward to win more tourneys!

Congrats. I tried entering a couple tourneys but I suck way too much and I don't have the motivation to practice for hundreds of hours to git gud.

i remember one where a smash tourney (local) had a $20 entry fee winner got all the money from the entry fees combined was there any additional prize like money or eshop credit? just curious (btw great job)

@chrisrlink Yeah, that is usually what they do, have an entrance fee to pay for prizes to the winners (2nd place usually gets something, 3rd place I don't know, every tournament is different)
The entry fee can be a lot less than $20 though. Depends on the scale of the tournament/how serious the players are. Some tournaments are more for fun and the entrance fee might only be like $5.

Congrats! If you plan to keep going to more tournaments, its a good idea to take care of your hand health.
Even though Ultimate isn't as intensive on your hands as Melee, you can never be too safe. It's always a good idea to do hand stretches when playing Smash.

Nice! Trophy looks somewhat decent and not 3d printed! I kid.. I wish we had local tourneys here.
