I’m pissed

I just won a PlayStation classic from a arcade Machine but the ps classic just got stuck in the prize area. The manager said “the Machine owner isn’t in today so just give me your name and number”. I have no hope of getting that damn call and I’m pissed. View attachment 178388View attachment 178389View attachment 178390View attachment 178391View attachment 178392

Maybe it's different where the OP is, but around here you could probably buy two Playstation Classics for the price of a newly-released console game. As a dismal flop, they are not especially valuable – except to entice people to play prize machines, maybe.

@Kwyjor this is true but I did win it with left over coins my friend gave me. So it’s not like I put anything into it

Read the stickers.

"For security, iPad's, computers, gaming consoles and other high value prizes are not kept in the Barber Cut machine. Prizes will be prompty provided to the winner."

It's a game console - so that ought to be an empty box anyway. They should have had a PS Classic to "promptly" give to OP.

So what happened was My aunt picked up the box and went home only to find out there was nothing in the box (she’s not the brightest of the family but I thank her none the less) I Called the manager up and he said there is nothing they could do for me... all I could do was leave a low rating on google and yelp :/

@Owenge I guess once you take the box home, there is little you can do to prove that you didn't just get the prize, take out the contents of the box, and pretend like it was empty. But still... Any manager who cares about their job should put the customer first.

@Owenge return the box with an old fashioned ticking clock inside, but make sure to wrap the package with something, so, they can't open it right away. Just leave it somewhere, on a table or something, then go home.
Fun for the whole family.
