I'm jumping on the bandwagon. For the greater cause of fighting boredom! (Maybe for teh lulz, too) ^_°

Ask away, no restrictions. The real answer will always be 42, but you know that already.

@Owenge:
Hmm, why the funny smiley behind the question? c:

I'd say I'm doing fine, given the circumstances. I'm satisfied because yesterday I finally finished my condensed music collection that I've been working on for several months. Been trying to fit as much of my favourite music on a 512 GB sd card to use in my phone as I can. It took me forever to decide which songs/albums to keep and what to throw out, which version to keep if I had multiple rips of a vinyl album, where to use lossless and where mp3 suffices and so on.

I'm also happy because I got Broken Age on Switch and I fell in love with that game.

Well, not counting my drunk father going on my nerves again because it's friday. My room's above the living room and I can hear everything that's being said.

Yep.

No Schnitzel for me. I'm a vegetarian since January 2004. '-'
The only thing I miss a bit is steak with peppercorn sauce. Last time I ate that was at a local restaurant in fall 2003 shortly after we landed at the airport, returning from a three wek trip to America.

Ah, so many consoles and games I love and play from time to time. Hard to choose...

Well, currently I'm playing Broken Age, Undertale (still stuck on Undyne) and Mario Maker 2 on Switch. I'd like to pick up the Link's Awakening remake but I'm low on money, so that has to wait. Nintendo games are good but way too expensive, if you ask me.

Apart from that I mostly play old school games via retroarch emulation on Switch. Zombies Ate My Neighbors romhacks on SNES, Rayman on Atari Jaguar, some Arcade Donkey Kong, Mother 3 GBA...

Metal Gear Solid 2 on Vita. Must be my third playthrough, currently...

Been modding Gothic I and II recently on PC and having tons of fun with it. Best action RPG I've played, Skyrim doesn't hold a candle to this old game imo. Haven't played Witcher 3 yet, so maybe that'll change my mind in the future.

Also playing some Advance Wars DS occasionally.

FEEL FREE TO SKIP THE REST, I WAS RAMBLING AGAIN.

Yeah, I'm not much into modern games, most of the current "AAA" titles I couldn't care less about. Not a fan of HD graphics either. I despise that blurry lighting effect that makes every object shimmer (whatever it's called, idk) they put into almost all the modern games.

I'm hopelessly stuck in the past, still enjoying the sort of games I grew up with.

I don't own a PS4 or Xbox One or whatever the current MS console is called. I grew up with SNES, N64, GC and and various gameboy and DS consoles. When the Wii was announced with those gimmicky motion controls I lost interest in gaming completely, I was kind of burned out.
--------------------
In 2017, around the time Mario Odyssey came out I came across some gameplay footage of Breath of the Wild on youtube and that resonated with me, so I finally convinced my parents to get a Switch with Zelda & Mario and that console rekindled my passion for video games.

I was very depressed at the time for reasons that would lead to far here, and I have to say that the Switch with these two colorful, cheerful games helped lighten my mood and forget about bad thoughts at the time.

I'd go as far as saying that games like these could almost serve as therapy for people with depressions.

When I decided to hack my DSi a year ago I joined GBAtemp because I wanted to ask for some advice on how to find a console with Flipnote Studio on it. It was just a quick throwaway account. After that I forgot all about it.

Then a few months(weeks?) ago I saw a post here about Sono having created a sharp image hack for DS games on 3DS and I just wanted to say "thank you" to him because that is totally awesome. Well, I realized that it's quite fun around here, so yeah, that's how I started to become active on this forum.
--------------------
Apart from Nintendo stuff I own a modchipped PS2 (sadly with broken disc drive, I screwed up the ribbon cable), a PS3 because I loved me some Littlebigplanet and an original Xbox because I love Splinter Cell 1. Two (one is sadly bricked) PSPs, a PSVita and an OpenPandora Linux based handheld, if that counts.

I bought a PSP when it came out for Splinter Cell (which was crap), then I got GTA LCS because I needed that game to run homebrew on the PSP. That was around 2007, I think. For about two years I got hooked on GTA and played and hacked that game excessively. After that I was so burned out that I never touched a GTA game again since then. xD

And I just realized that I wrote way too much again. Sorry, I really got carried away there. Well, I think that should be it. ^_°

Because the Jaguar Rayman is the first version of the game and has many differences in level design, gameplay and of course a completely different soundtrack compared to all later CD based ports. The game was completely reprogrammed for Playstation/Saturn/PC-DOS.

I know Rayman for PS1 and DOS in and out, it's one of my all time favourite games. Jaguar and Saturn were the only versions I've never got to play because I never owned these consoles and emulation was pretty bad for a long time.

With retroarch on Switch I've finally got to experience these two versions for the first time. As a die hard fan that was really exciting for me. :3

@alexander1970:
No, if you mean things like vegan meat, that's crap. I wouldn't eat something like that.

Haha, I've seen things like "Vegane Leberwurst/vegan liver sausage" recently in the supermarket. That's totally ridiculous...

I still eat cheese and milk and eggs (although I don't like them), just no meat. On rare occasions I eat fish. Technically fish is still meat, but fish is very healthy, so I make an exception for that sometimes.

Love muesli for breakfast or raw milk cheese, absolutely delicious. I couldn't live without cheese from Swiss and France. I often eat rice for dinner, or pasta, or steamed vegetables. Love cooking with fresh tomato sauce and olive oil and all that.

I really just try to eat healthy and I have a pretty good feeling for which things are good for my body and which ones aren't.

As for becoming a vegetarian, that's a funny story. My mum made Fleischkäse/meatloaf at her birthday in 2004 and I saw it when it was still raw, before it was baked. It looked so disgusting to me. After that point I said to myself from now on I'll stop eating any sorts of meat.

Don't ask me, haha, I was scared for life after I saw that.

My mum just said, let him be, after two weeks he'll start eating meat again anyways. But I'm the most stubborn person on the planet, so I keep going like that to this day.

I also thought well, I don't want all these animals to die because of me, so I stopped eating meat.
