On the National dex purge

It really grinds my damn gears!

No dex purge
Gen 6 added the Mega stones
No dex purge
And yet they do it with Gen 8!?

Eh, it's not something that bothers me personally. There'd be a point where they'd have to start doing this, so it being now isn't an issue.

For me, the biggest problem is in how they've been explaining it and jumping from one reason to another. It was obvious people wouldn't react well to the news, so sorting out the explanation clearly beforehand to limit frustration would've been ideal. It could be the case that each excuse they've given is exactly the truth, but the drip feeding of them has only made people more annoyed.

That'd my two cents anyway.

I don't really care that they gimped the Dex in general, whatever reason they spout.

What I do cares about is they dropped so many "series staple" Pokemon out of the list which makes no sense. Only Charmander for past starters? Wtf. No Dratini line? No Salamance? No Zubat?

It's like they thought "everybody knows and loves these Pokemon...SO LETS CUT EM AND FORCE THEM TO LOVE THE NEW SHIT!"

We were at 809 before this game came out. Sometimes has to give as no one game is going to have close to 1000+ pokemon in them. They are going to have to start breaking them up between games.

NOPE! As if you can even tell what I'll buy in the near future. I know there are those who will buy it. But I myself am one of those who will not buy it. I'm more likely to get Alien isolation for Switch when it comes out, and later on either Super Mario Party, Observer, Minecraft: Story Mode, or The Coma: Recut.
