it's pretty good. I'm in the final stage. I haven't completed it yet over the span of years.

it's been so long since I've played it, but I believe it has an overworld like those old tales of games. that's what I miss about the new ones where it's just running down hallways like final fantasy xiii. if you like old school rpgs, you'll probably like this one.

It's okay. I finished it and it was fine. I didn't like the awful translation. A lot of sentences are wrong when translated from Japanese to English. Some of the lines are off due to poor writing when the lines have to do with the inserted characters.

I only played the game as Beryl.

I'm playin' It in italian , so i really don't know about the accuracy of the translation

that game's dlc (which I actually bought) got screwed up by mai dump tool, so I used nps browser to get it back, and I even took a few more dlc like the gamestop exclusive ones for my troubles. ;)

@fvig2001 Dear God, it isn't on the level of UNIB/UNIST levels of bad translation, is it? Think bad spelling, grammar, missing or misplaced periods, etc.. Makes the prologue story mode hard to take seriously, if the boring writing didn't do so already!

I don't remember much about the story. the same thing has happened with vesperia. I've gone so long without playing either game that I don't remember what's going on. I think one or both have synopsis though. speaking of which, I liked how one of the star ocean games did it, where while loading your save, it would tell you what's recently happened.

my opinion is probably about what @Reploid 's is. it's tales. ;) I don't like the new ones even though I own zestiria. good music though.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
