I want to be a NEET

After half a year of NEETism, I don't want to be a neet anymore, I'm really lonely. I will go back to school.

I'm always lonely, even when I'm not living the NEET life.

@SomecallmeBerto: I want to socialize and get a gf. That's the only reason. In the 6 months of being a neet, I have often been suicidal and depressed because of it. I don't want to be alone anymore.

@MisterPantsEyes - Work on improving yourself and less about getting a GF. They more you improve yourself the more people are drawn to you.

Everyone need some friends or you will get depressed. You can go the easy way and find some online or you must get out in the world for it. The easiest way to get some friends is a job where you can other people but since you dont wanna work much you should mabye look for a job where you refill stuff in a market or something. There are probaly other people around your age too

I was the first person to post on this blog, so I guess I should say something as well.

Most things get easier the more times you try it. Learn from your mistakes from your past NEET attempt, and when you are ready, we will welcome you back with open arms.

Since you are working, aim on maxing 401K, IRA, side investments, etc. You won't have much money leftover, but most families in America live just fine in poverty, and they don't do any of the extreme stuff like dumpster dive. Just make sure you take full advantage of government subsidies. Then when you are ready to go NEET again in 10-20 years (or I guess regular retirement depending on your age), you can enjoy passive income from your investments and not need to worry about working anymore.

An easy shortcut method is to get disability. Way more than enough money to sustain a modest lifestyle, can pay (property/local/school/etc) taxes / rent / mortgage, and can go grocery shopping. If you can get your GF on it as well, you'll have 2x the money when you combine, but only one person pays taxes/rent/mortgage so you end up with more take home pay. Add in passive income from your investments and you get to live large at that point.

Work hard to become a NEET again!

EDIT: I realized you are in Germany. IDK how it works over there. I assume since it's Europe, it's even easier to get help from the Government. Have fun.

@Chary IDK, I mean...being a NEET can be an experience in and of itself, you know? (and after typing four lines, I look at the post date and realize I'm replying to a 4 year old post)





I'd post more, but it really is a show you and others here should watch for themselves. I have to say, if I didn't watch this show when I was experiencing a sort of crisis-of-purpose in when I was 20/21, I don't know if I'd be where I am today.
