Out of the hospital

Had a heart attack last monday on the 7th. Got surgery to put several stents in my arteries. Guys and Gals, if you're reading this, take care of yourself. Eat healthier, exercise more, DONT smoke. Bed rest sucks especially in a hospital, just trust me on this.

Glad to hear you are out of the hospital. I've been one week cig free. Doesn't sound like much, but for a smoker it's a big deal.

you're only 36 ! ,holy shit that is bad
are you overweight at all?
my cholesterol and triglycerides are through the roof , it's genetic and no matter what i do they don;t really go down much , but i get chest pain and short of breath sometimes
i don't smoke unless you count occasional 420
but i am like 8 years older,
this is very scary to hear, 36 is too young to be having these issues

Weatmod, I seemed fine until I was at work unloading a truck. Started having chest pains. I took care of myself while I was in the Navy. But I got out and stopped working out. I got upwards of a little under 300 lbs. 5 ft 8 isnt tall. Over the course of the past 4 years I got myself down to 170lbs to 190lbs. Those years where I was really big are probably where I started having these problems but didnt notice cause of the weight. I agree 36 isnt at all old, but definitely not going to be that big again.

The last one I had was in 2013.

If you have a congenital heart disease/heart history, you shouldn't push yourself too hard.
At the end it won't worth it.

If I'm able to say, maybe tou should look into jobs that won't require a terrific physical effort for you or your heart.

Dude, stop smoking.
Take more care of yourself please, you're only 36.

JuanMena, normally I would agree with you but my job pays pretty good and it makes the bills.
