Analogue Pocket and my quest to play Gameboy games

I’ve been looking for a sustainable consistent and reliable way to play gameboy games, and I found the Analogue Pocket, and am mildly interested in purchasing the product... When I have the money. I’m not in a very money-filled position as a 14 year-old with no money because I bought a nintendo switch for my family for Christmas. I’m happy I bought the Switch but I’ll honestly just be playing Super Mario Odyssey on it and don’t need anything else from it at all, and I want to enjoy the original Pokemon games, so I’m going to pay up for Animal Crossing, and then I’m going to save for the Analogue Pocket and pay for it along with a few gameboy games. Any thoughts?

Because I’m picky and I would like to be able to record my gameplay without using an emulator. (Analogue pocket has a TV dock station, I already have the capture card)

I want the analogue pocket, but the fucking thing isn't in stock... It's like they hate money, and are creating fake shortages. I wanna wake up the dude making them with a few hard face slaps.

If I don’t own the games I’m technically playing “pirated games” and I can get “Nintendoed” (I get fined or “cease and desist”)

The gameboy player is an offical attachment to the gamecube which can play Gameboy. Gameboy Colour and Gameboy advance games. For best video output you'll probably want to use homebrew software called "gaemboy interface" but that is not illegal.

Emulation itself is legal, However downloading roms is illegal (even if you own the game) Dumping is pretty much legal and dumping gba is pretty easy with a ds lite and r4 card along with a custom program.
