My Drum Kit - now with New Cymbals!

So, I got a drum kit last June for my B-Day. It's a CB Drum kit, Remo Skins and really bad cymbals :P. The crash bit the dust, so I went out and got some Solars (by Sabian) for $85. (Liars! Said it came with a free T-Shirt : :hateit: ). Took some pics for my iPod touch to show my friends, and I thought I'd post em here :)

Here's the kit as a full:

Crash/Ride is 18" and Hi Hats are 14". Toms are 12" and 13". 16" Floor-Tom and 14" Snare. I have no clue what the bass drum is, or if they even give sizes for that...Sticks are Vic Firth 5BN American Classic Hickory.

My friend got a rad electronic kit recently, and it made me want to pursue a kit for myself.

I guess I'm a drummer. :P
Been doing it for about three years. I can make some pics of my crappy kit if you like.

I even play in some amateur band. I get to play in places in and around my hometown, it's really fun.

I like your new cymbal!

And I see you have an expensive taste in drumsticks. :P Those Vick Firth sticks are 25$ in my town!

I have been drumming for 8 years. I have a CB kit which I love but you should have looked around more before you got Solars. They are shit (sorry for being straight out and mean like that but they are), They are made of brass and brass doesn't make a very nice sounds, you should have saved up another $150 or so and got some Meinl MCS's. It comes with Hi-Hats, a Crash, and a Ride cymbal. Now that is good shit, I have an MCS crash coming in the mail and I can't wait.

I was actually just about to upload my newest drum video to YouTube, I'll post in here when its done.

My bands drummer has a CB kit, same as yours (at least the bass drum and the toms attached to it).

Trust me, it's WAY WAY better than what I had before, WAY. I don't mind them, and I'm still a beginner. Once I get better, I'll get some better stuff hopefully.

Nice video man, your awesome!
