Got drunk for the first time

So went on a party yacht yesterday- totally not mine pfft I can’t even afford a pack of pencils whenever I want one. Someone else brought me there-

I went over to the bar- there was an old lady. Made friends with her and she was very sweet >:3
We hung out for awhile after everyone else left, saw some beautiful sights. Saw a bird choke on a fish-
Then we went back and went on with our days.

Then near the end I got a drink from somewhere- it tasted weird. You see, I’m still stupid... so I thought nothing of it and drank the full thing. A bit later I was... having a very goooood time. Then we all left a bit later-
I talked to a few friends, told them I might have been a lil bit drunk... They’re all very experienced, and were able to tell me that I was not a bit drunk- I was extremely drunk :unsure: which might have been concerning for them because I was alone and they all know I can’t take care of myself for shit-

Some time later- at night, I was walking around in pitch darkness. And that’s the last thing I can remember- I woke up awhile ago with a headache, and I can’t exactly remember what happened at the end...

Kinda upset since I was planning to not drink for another couple of years -O-
Not sure if it was an accident or not- since all the people there were good people (maybe?)

@AmandaRose , gin was actually my drink of choice. I think it was Barton's dry gin, because it was 1.75L. and in a plastic bottle for like $13. when I was going to school at OU (go sooners), there was a liquor store near the dorms. it was written liqOUr . it's against the rules to drink in the dorms, due to an accident that happened years before, so I had to sneak it in my backpack. anyway, the guy there said to mix gin with grape juice, but I drank it straight. I guess I just got used to it. I used to drink it in Japan too. they don't serve liquor afaik in grocery stores in Oklahoma, but they do in Japan. I think it was ice gin in Japan, but there was also ice vodka that I got sometimes too.

@AmandaRose Gin really aint that bad. Not my favorite by any means, but it tastes like pine, if you've ever smelled a Christmas tree, that's what gin tastes like. I can handle that shit, even without a chaser. The absolute worst thing anyone could ever drink is Malört. For the love of God, stay the fuck away from that drink.

lol...the worst imo is Rum. it tastes like the after taste when you vomit to me. the only two times I almost threw up were from Rum (Baccardi 151 specifically) and Tequila. Tequila doesn't have much taste from what I remember, but you can get drunk fast with it.

Tequila shots are easy to drink if you're doing it with lime and salt. Rum makes for nice sweet mixed drinks, you really can't go wrong with a rum and coke, I would not recommend taking shots of it though. The quickest I ever threw up was the first time I took a shot of tequila because I didn't know about the lime and salt way and just did it straight up. Was pretty much as quick as down my throat, turned to the sink and threw it right back up lol. Even still, that shit was still nowhere near as awful as that shot of Malort. Fuck that drink.

what kind of liquor is Malort? I guess I could look it up. I never use chasers unless I'm with friends, but it eventually got to the point where I'd only drink alone. liquor is quicker and cheaper a lot of the time, if you go with a plastic bottle, than beer, but I don't recommend it. bad things seem to happen with liquor, at least in my case. the highest alcohol content I know of is Ouzo, which I think is Greek. I saw it advertised in Los Angeles when I visited there. the highest I've had is probably everclear.

@godreborn Malort is it's own terrible thing made from wormwood. Really no other hard liquor as far as I know compares to it. Just avoid it though, seriously.

Thanks to Lostbhoy I stand corrected. Indeed there is one drink that tastes worse than Gin and that's Buckfast. It's the drink of young people here in Scotland but god knows why it smells like warm piss and tastes even worse.
