@Chary , I hope your cat his okay. I'm an animal lover myself, so I understand how you feel. I lost both of my dogs in the same year, and even today, two years later, I still talk about them. I loved them so much. the female one was like my own dog. she'd come running to me when she was scared. I like to think her spirit is still laying on her side in my room. that's where she used to sleep. she was part of my valentine blog this year. I loved her brother too. I always talk about him being like an nba star or a fighter pilot or something else ridiculous. I like to anthropromorphize my pets. I think they're just so cute that way! :) my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I used to have a cat named Tuffy, who would rub your back. he'd star-feet like how they do when they're getting milk out of their momma. he'd do that to your back. it was so sweet.

He's doing really good!!! So are the other kitties. I've been sitting with Tuxy because he was feeling lonely in poor quarantine away from everyone. He's just rubbing up against everything in the room--he's got a lot of energy back!

Tuxy can help you fight those insane enemies on the overworld in bravely default 2 now. :P I still can't beat any of them.

Wanted to give another update on Tuxy! He’s officially done with all his medication! In 11 more days, he’ll officially be able to see the other cats without worry! And will be fully 100% back to normal!!! He’s doing really well, but he still is “shedding” the virus so he can’t be near other animals.

The vet told me the fact that none of my other cats got it, or at least none of them came down with severe symptoms is nothing short of a miracle. At the same time Tuxy was in the ER, another kitten with the same illness was in there with him, and had been in the hospital for over 10 days. At the time, one of them even suggested I put Tuxy down because the survival rate was so slim and they thought he was too far gone.

It might be cheesy but I honestly believe that God, or hearing all the Spirit Bomb-tier wishes for Tuxy’s recovery in this blog caused a miracle. I’m so thankful I’m so many ways. To everyone here, to the amazing vets who saved his life, to Tuxy himself for fighting off this horrible disease. I’m so happy.

I'm glad Tuxy is doing much better. losing an animal is one of the hardest things in the world. what's weird is when I had to put my two dogs down, who were closer to me than any person, I didn't cry. I guess I was just shocked and upset that I couldn't cry at all. I've cried in the past when I had to do that with other pets, so it was definitely different.

@godreborn When my dog passed away this January, I didn’t cry...but only because while he’d been sick for the three days or so because he died, I’d been all cried out. I love animals, they’re too good for us humans. We all process grief differently, too. Some things are just beyond tears.

I have no pets atm, but we sometimes take care of my sister's dogs. I even performed a vulcan mind meld on her labradoodle. lol I could do that with Tuxy. I can sense his thoughts right now. "I love Krista and her family." and, "what the hell are you doing to me!?" :P
