They brought Advance wars back, that was everything needed.

(Now someone gotta get Capcom to bring Battlenetwork back)

Oh and that Metroid looked fine too.
And that colorful Racing game that reminded me of a roided up version of SmashinDrive.

Nintendo did a good job.
Their cutting and transition team also knew what they were doing.

Bandai didn't show Digimon Survive and Capcom didn't reveal a MMBN/SF legacy collection :(

Super Monkey Ball lesssss goooooooo

Meh. Nowhere near as downright disgusting and idiotic as TakeTwo's politically-charged shitshow of a presentation (if I ever hear the word "diversity" again, I swear I'll feel like murdering whoever said it), but still had next-to-nothing that I'm interested in.

Tekken's Kazuya in SSBU? Eh, alright, it'll make the PlayStation fans happy. Never have played a Tekken game before, but I have watched plenty of Caddicarus in my time (not to mention the Kazuya vs Ryu Death Battle episode), so I know full well who he is. I'm neutral on his inclusion.

True Colours, I've never heard of before. Meh. Life is Strange...meh. Super Monkey Ball...meh. Skyward Sword...why? There wasn't a lot of BotW2 shown, so I can still hope the devs wake up and realise just how dumb fragility, stamina, and no map markers are. The only enjoyable Hyrule Warriors game is Definitive Edition, the finalised version of the Wii U/3DS games. Game & Watch...meh.
Advance Wars, I've never cared for; the 3DS Fire Emblem games are far more enjoyable than Advance Wars (which, last I checked, originated on the Famicom - Famicom Wars - and changed the first word depending on the console. Cool; this should be named "Switch Wars" then).

Mario Party and Golf; uuuuuggghhh. Not a sports fan, or a fan of randomness and luck. I have never understood Party's popularity, when Kart and SSB exist.

Overall, 5/10. Definitely better than most of the previous showcases, but still nowhere close to "excellent" or "NITNENDO SAVDE E3!!!1!1!", as I've seen some people put it; there was a distinct lack of Kirby, Pokemon news, Xenoblade, Luigi's Mansion, etc. in this presentation.

I loved the Direct. I have really nothing to complain about.

I also predicted that the Doom Eternal DLC would get revealed for the Switch, so I was quite suprised to see it there (although I play on PC)

Talking about DOOM Eternal...I wonder if iD will ever make missed skins and stuff available again. As it stands, the only way to get them is to complete enough daily 'achievements' to get enough points to earn them, before each 'season' expires - and some 'achievements' involve playing the awful multiplayer.
Never did like that system; FoMO is in full effect, and involves grinding through unsatisfying replays and tedium to fulfil enough 'achievements' to complete each season.

@RichardTheKing That'd be cool, but I doubt it unfortunately. The only chance players getting the skins is if id stops making new Doom Eternal seasons, as they could just reuse old seasons if no new season gets released (like what Splatoon 2 used to (or still does?) do for Splatfests).

Mario Party, Metroid Dread and Zelda news were more than enough to satisfy me. For some reason Kazuya in Smash seems underwhelming in my eyes. But I liked the Direct.

i was hoping for a news about Metroid prime .. but Metroid dread looks pretty cool! i always wanted a new metroid game with the same style as on the super nintendo. Other M was kinda side-scroll, but not completly and too much linear..

@Pipistrele I know that Persona is a spin-off from SMT, but I'd say Persona is "the greatest ongoing JRPG franchise". I also know that others would claim that Dragon Quest qualifies, or Final Fantasy (which is wrong - 13 was downright awful, 15 sucked, and 7 Remake is...unfinished).

Persona isn't a spin off of SMT, Persona was never marked as SMT in Japan. Both SMT and Persona are MegaTen, but they are seperate from each other

@SANIC Eh, close enough to being a spin-off in my book. They're both "Megami Tensei" series, with some similar battle mechanics, but wholly different in other mechanics.
