Get Lost, Spambots! [Rant]

These spambots are getting on my nerves!

"Recover stolen cryptocurrencies with hacking… or with magic." → You expect me to believe that? My ass!
"Voodoo revenge spells. Death spells for your enemies." → Yeah, what's next? By the way: Does it work on spammers?
"Get rich by this perfect method […]" → …and this is why you spam instead of using your own method to get rich.

Yesterday I could not believe my eyes: Two bots were cluttering the forum with their nonsense, trying to beat each other. Who posts more threads in a given amount of time?
The first one offered "Call Girls" while the second wanted to sell "Abortion Pills" (with the well-known marketing name).

Good lord, spammers, do you expect men to mass order women for special services, get them pregnant and order those dangerous substances afterwards?

Sometimes questionable ideas from religion/faith can indeed be comforting:

We need a system that if 3 or more users report them as Spam, it will delete them. That way we don't have to depend or wait for mods to remove them.

We definitely do not LOL. My lord that system would be abused to heckery if somebody annoyed a few people at once.

Said this a few times, but just report the spam and add them to your ignore list. Mods will deal with it as soon as they're able to. Adding the spammer to your ignore list in the meantime will remove them from your recent content and avoid you getting any notifs on watched forums.

What for would a legitimate user post ten threads in five minutes? The impact of a single spam account could be limited to three threads. This will surely not hinder a real user if they can post three threads on their first day.

Having the recent content box full of call girls and such might scare away new users if they visit in the wrong minute.

That's a really nice feature, didn't even know that was a thing. I don't think that I've ever "ignore-ed" someone on any forum so far, to be honest.

Probably the thing that annoys me the most is that when they make spam blogs the posts clutter up the recent content box - even after they're deleted by mods! Of course the actual content is gone, but that echo remains, taunting me.

There's always those black magic spell services too. Not only here, but also on places like YouTube. Managed to report those too.
