Hmmm, I haven't written a blog about something that actually ment something in a long time now. So as I am sitting here listening to some Opeth, I am just going to write about recent happenings in my life.
Hmm, where to start. Well most of you know that I got a date to Prom a few weeks ago, she has been confusing the hell out of me lately. The day after I ask her she starts hanging out with this other dude, who happens to be the best friend of my bassist in Cap Gun Roulette (more on that band later) everyone that she hangs out with tells her that the kid is a complete douchebag and a jerkoff and she has even said that he tries to hard but yet they hang out all the time. I don't get it. She barely texts me anymore (we used to text each other all the time), but otherwise its been pretty normal. I am not jealous or really that angry that she is talking to this other kid, I just think it would be awkward. Imagine if they go out and I am taking her to Prom, it would be so weird XD. I do like her though which is why I am a little pissed, I asked her in the hopes of hanging out with her more and talking to her more, but obviously that hasn't been happening. We are hanging out tomorrow though I believe, it all depends whether my mom is home or not because we want to smoke. Yes I know, I have said numerous times that I don't do it anymore, but on occasion I do it. I did it with my friend a few months back, its not something that I do everyday though.
Anyways, next subject, I have been losing weight recently
. I have lost almost 15 pounds in the past month. I have cut out soda and have cut down on snacking a lot. I am almost 210, people find it hard to believe that I even weigh that much. Most people think I am like 180 or 190 but that is probably because I am like 6 ft+. I am just really happy that I am doing something about my weight finally XD, I think its because I drum for like an hour and a half every single day. My pointer finger is all callused and sore from grip tape that I use on my drumsticks (no not the skateboard grip tape). I drum way to much, I learn new things everyday though and I am a fucking beast at the doublebass pedal now. I am like super speed at that shit XD.
Next Topic, my bands. Holy shit, I am in 3 bands right now (4 if you want to count my grindcore band thats just me), my band practice schedule is going to be ridiculous soon, I don't mind though because I enjoy everything that I play.

Cap Gun Roulette - So much shit has been going on with this band recently, god damn. Our guitarist (Shane) just like disappeared from us. No one can get a hold of him whatsoever, he has been on MySpace and FaceBook but still, he won't answer anything. So we just kinda went on and recruited our old guitarist, he is really good. Our singer/guitarist Kyle and him had a fall out a couple years back but they are cool with each other now. So he is back in. As with me, I fear at times that I am going to be kicked out. I haven't been able to make the last two shows, but those weren't under my control. Kyle did some poor booking and booked a show a few weeks ago on a Sunday and we weren't going to be going on until like 11PM and my mom wanted me home by 10PM so that didn't happen. This past show this weekend I couldn't play because we had a family party on Saturday that I was told I couldn't miss even though no family showed up XD. So we have a show this weekend but I need a way of getting there because its up in Vermont and my parents sure as hell won't be driving me up to Vermont for a show. I hope our bassist can give me a ride because I want to play this one, I love Vermont shows.
Practice is every Tuesday and Thursday.
Pure Forgery: A throw around band that me and my friend Nick started. It was first just me and him but then we kinda wanted to get serious so we recruited my our friend Kevin. He is very Phish/Grateful Dead based type person. So if you listen to "Jam1" thats what we sound like now, its just basically a Jam Band. Even though how much I hate Jam Bands like Phish, I can bare with it because I can do crazy drum things that I can't do in Cap Gun Roulette.
Practice is every Friday.
AtomicDancePartner: This is my Punk band with my friends Adam and Steve. We haven't played together yet but their old drummer just quit out on them so I told them I would play for them because I like the type of Punk they play. They want to have break downs though and I just want to be straight up Punk because I love Punk, I want to play shit like The Casualties and NoFX seeing as they are my two favorite punk bands. I am sure we will find away around it so we are all happy, but basically its Punk. None of that singing shit that people like to call Punk these days, just good old Punk. At least I hope .
Practice is every Saturday, i believe.
Lake Of Anal Mucus: My grindcore band, this was probably my first real kind of band ever. I have been in this since 2007, it first started with me (Djevel) from the US, Raziel from Hungary, and Curved_Cutler from Romania, then Cutler left and then a few months after that Raziel left. So I thought "Well shit, its over then" but nope. I learned how to play a little Grindcoreish type guitar and do Gutterals and Pig Squeals. So I released the 3rd EP 'Rotting Together' in March and I plan on releasing more whenever I get my Auxiliary cord and amp back from my friend.
No Practices, as its just me XD.
I plan on making a band like Opeth later on in life as they are huge influences on the type of music I like to play and make. Including Martin Lopez, he is like a drumming god to me.
I am also on Spring Break this week and have basically done jackshit, but whatever. Its nice to just sit here, chill with some homies and play some video games.
