MOVING OUT!

Tomorrow, August 16th, 2009, I will be moving out of my parents house and into a dorm in Southern Maine Community College in Portland, Maine.

I'm moving so early because I have 2 weeks of training to be an on-campus security guard.

WOW I don't know whether to be nervous or excited :blink:

This afternoon I'm going to hang out with my best friend for the last time, probably play some Xbox or SSBB, then tomorrow I have to get up early and move 2 1/2 hours to Portland.

Anyone else going to college soon? Do you also feel like you're going to throw up? ...then again, that may be because i had the flu yesterday :P

I move out in a week. I'm not moving that far. I still be able to come back during most weekends. I'm a little nervous. I'm more sad about not seeing my friends that much/ at all any more.

I move out for my second year in October. After the first couple of weeks of homesickness, living on your own is great :D

Alright, all moved in and my parents have left.

Yeah, I AM stoked to be on my own. No Mom to unplug the router when I'm in the middle of playing EvE or Crysis Wars, no chores to do every 5 minutes, etc....

But right now, it is weird. I'm one of the first people to move in. There was one girl moving in at the same time as me, but I havent seen her since. Also, I'm in a 3-person room, but so far I'm the only one.

I hope my roomates are geeks like me, it'd be weird to live with two other people you can't connect with at all...

Heh, I've got a friend attending college in Portland. He's a lot of fun. Civil Engineering, I think he's studying.

Lol I'm going for "Communications and New Media: Animation and Gaming option". Is he going to the university or community college?
