I know it has a bigger screen, but I said the Zune HD is SMALLER (As in size, not thickness). Also, I said the Zune lacks apps/games. Maybe you just read it wrong.


Unless of course you thought I meant the original Zune, which I didn't.

get a dingoo if it appeals to you..or just get that zune hd

I wasn't really recommending either, but I've had an iPod Touch before, and since I've never used a Zune, I figured I buy the Zune HD (Which I'm not anymore, so I need to look for something else).

If you like emulation and want multimedia on the road, this could be a very good choice.

My mom now tells me I have a $200 budget on what I want now. So Zune HD is out lol

Ever consider Beatles Rock Band? I think it's like $170 or so for the entire set, and you can always use the instruments for other GH/RB games.

Otherwise, I'm looking for a 1TB hard drive this Christmas (which is around $120, apparently) so I never need to waste DVDs on Wii games again. Either that or a Dingoo and a big ol' MicroSD card.

It's $220 with free shipping from amazon. You could always offer to pay the extra $20 yourself, I'm sure that your mom would agree to that.

An external HD is definitely something to consider IMHO.
I have the WD My Book 1TB, and it works like a charm with my Wii. I can run games and multimedia from it, my Wii is a whole mediacenter nowadays.

I narrowed it down to an iPod Touch, a Zune HD (32GB) or a Playstation 3. My mother says that if I give her the money, she will go buy them and since I'll have about $120-140 by then, that'll be $320. I would get the HDD though, but she ruled that out saying that something like that I don't necessarily need since I have a laptop and another HDD.

i think you should go for the ps3 slim i got a phatty one on my birthday and well there are some great titles on it like brutal legend but i prefer my wii because of the better fps controls but there are awesome ps3 games

Well almost all games are multi platform games so for XBOX360,PS3 and even PC.
So it really only depends on what games you want to play that are exclusive for a Console.

Well if your mom's budget (that you want her to spend in you) is under the $100 bucks, then why not a gift card on whatever store you like the most (I would go for Starbucks or Tim Hortons), if you need nothing and have all the gadgets you want, then ask her for a surprise, at the end that is what matters, if you get a surprise AND something that you wanted, then that would be awesome, but again sometimes a surprise and receive something you didn't expected at all can be the best it has ever happened to you...!!
