Losan weightan

Most people surprisingly think I'm around 150pounds area, but in reality, I'm around at 200. Every person I know doesn't care about my weight, but I've always wanted to lose weight for quite a while. It's been like that since I was a grade 6. It should help me in many areas dramatically.

So, for the next few months, all I'll be having is Oatmeal (Unsweetened, no sugar, etc), lots of fruits and vegetables, boiled eggs (No salt), canned tuna, something with high protein and low fat as a snack, Bread (Whole wheat only, and even then, never more than 2 slices per day). Maybe some leftover Vitamin C pills I have. I'll also increase the amount of exercise by a notch.

Avoid every pop, and EVERY fruit juices. Only acceptable drinks are Tea, (With no sugar, splenda, cream, etc) milk (White milk) and water. Avoid food with high calories, fats, sugar, salt, and try to keep all meals very light. All the meat I intake must be lean, none of that breaded stuff or deep fried. I must also eat 5-6 times a day.

Today, I started off with

Breakfast: Small bowl of oatmeal, Vegetables, and one boiled egg.
Lunch: Sandwich with ham, (Regrettably cheese was inside, as well as a small amount of *Ranch sauce* shudder. Not my fault, my mother made it. I'll tell her to avoid putting in cheese and sauces next time.) lettuce and tomatos.
Snack: High protein chicken strips 3 pieces (Next time, avoid this like a plague, or only have 1 piece as a snack.)
Dinner: More oatmeal with plenty of strawberries.
"Dessert": A can of Tuna with a cup of strong Green tea.

Besides the Lunch and Snack, I think this will go well. I would appreciate any suggestions though. Pretty important for my lifestyle. Another thing to note is that due to diet and fuckton of work I need to do to catch up in school, I'll be avoiding my PS3 or any vidya in general. Including god hand ;_;.

Oh, and I also got a Wii. But again, I can't play any waggling on it until school is over. I have... Muramasa (20), Rune Factory:F(30), Trauma Center(10), Fire Emblem (Goddamn 40 bucks), and Little King's Story (25). The wii bundle I bought for 170 CAD came with 2 controllers (With silicone cases), 2 nunchucks, and 5 games. (FF:My life as a king, Resident evil archives, Dokapon kingdom, pikmin 1 wii controls, and Wii Play)

Think it was a good deal. I'll eventually buy Monster Hunter Tri, and Fragile Dreams. Everything else (First party stuff, and NMH) will be pirated.

You better watch out when you go out to eat. There's all kinds of things that you'd think are good for you with hidden calories like those 800 cal salads and the like.

Because calories are all that matter amirite.

if your only interest is loosing weight, yes, actually.

calories in < calories out == weight loss

yup UltraMagnus is correct but how many calories you can consume daily depends on your gender and how big you are.females tend to need to consume even less calories then males because they gain weight a lot faster and its harder for them to get it off.i don't like to count calories as long as i dont gain weight i'm fine but as far as what mcp2 said about drinking water and skim milk i say screw that ill stick to beer and coffee lol and yes i know beer is fattening but like i said as long as i dont gain weight im fine.

Then why are oats or whole grain cereals considered a good diet meal if they have the same amount of calories as Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs (they're all around 500-600 calories per 100g)? It's more complicated than that.

Holy shit, that's how tall I am.

Also, I weigh about 160-170 pounds (my weight fluctuates on multiple factors, such as stress, tiredness, sickness, etc.). I'm not exactly too happy about my weight, but I'm just too lazy to exercise. I figure as long as I don't overeat on days where I don't do much, I should be OK.

As someone doing this program I must say this: if you are out of shape, you won't be able to pull through this thing!

I'm about 210 pounds and 6'3" so it's kinda a beer gut. I don't really care though, and my diet has 0% meat, so yeah. Weight has never really mattered to me unless I'm hugely obese.

I think it is about 300cals per 100g, at least according to the USDA nutritional database, and 100g of dry oats is a lot once prepared with skim milk or water as they absorb a lot of liquid and fill you up.

Well that's the point. How long it takes to digest, and the nutritional value. 100 calories of whole grain is better than 100 calories of sugar. That's why calories in - calories out is oversimplifying.

Eating healthy means not really cutting down on the calories or protein, cut down on the fat and sugar. Exercise way more, not just running, but also weight lifting. However, running is essential and should be done with maximal effort in order to see results.

well, being filled up doesn't actually matter, if you don't mind feeling like shit.
