I've got plenty of friends who have said they were mistakes, and they're all cool.

My dad is an alcoholic. My mom is severely bipolar. My younger sister (15) has severe rage issues. I've raised my youngest sister, she's five right now, by myself. I was an unplanned pregnancy and I've been told since forever I'm a useless piece of shit that wrecked my moms life.

Sounds a lot like my life. Except my father quit drinking, my mother is still severely bipolar/schizophrenic/have HUUUUUUUUGE anger rages. and it's my older sister with the anger issues. I had to raise my four younger siblings, my lazy ass oldest sister and her daughter, my five year old niece. I won't even start on my past.

It's best to use experiences like that to grow stronger and try your best not to turn into.
I commend you for not losing your mind, I can tell you many who are either dead, prostituting or drug addicts cause they couldn't handle it, good luck on your future

If I can say one thing, It would be DONT let your parents get to you. Dont let them convince you that your worthless. Talking with someone helps, a lot. And most of all focus on where you are going not where you came from.

Edit: And talking means face to face, I know that may seem daunting, even I still find it difficult to talk to people I trust about my family life even after seeing counsellors and other people.
