3DS, or Exotic cruise??

So, my parents just asked me if I wanted to go on a cruise to the Caribbean. I will have to pay half though. Which sucks, because I REALLY want a 3DS. The cruise is in February, so I'd have to choose one or the other.

What do you guys think?

Are you talking about 999?

A cruise is the best vacation you'll ever take. I took one around Europe before, and another to the Bahamas, both wonderful.

Take the cruise. Especially if you already have a DS.

Not only will it probably take a while to run flashcarts on the 3DS, but it won't take long for the price to drop (it took about 3 months for the DSi XL to drop around $30 IIRC).

In all seriousness tho, take the cruise. The 3DS will be around for awhile after you get back, but when will you have an opportunity to party in the sun with hot babes(or hot dudes if your into that kinda thing) while all your pals back home are freezing their balls off again in your life? More so since you live in Canada.

+9001

go on the cruise. you can get the 3DS at a later date. it's fun to spend time with your family, you might never see them again someday but not now, but someday.

What I mean is "this experience will be forever be remembered" where-as the 3DS can be replaced when it's broken.

Im glad you made the right choice.

What are you going todo if you were the first one to own a 3DS? Most of the time, the fist batches have technical problems so we better wait fo the next batches

I echo quite everyone else regarding the cruise, especially their reasons. Take it from me, one who lives in the Caribbean /is Puerto Riccan/: save for the heat and possible language barriers, the Caribbean hype is not all that unfunded.

Besides, you can not go wrong with delaying a purchase of a console that is going to be available for years, anyways. In fact, by the time you get back enough to buy the 3DS, supplies should be re-stocked!

Good choice! Quality time with family is the best!
