When you put a ds on top of another

Yeah I've just discovered when I put my open dsi on top of closed and turned off DS lite it goes to sleep mode.
It's probably because a magnet is placed in the hinge.
Did anyone notice this before?

i didn't know that cool, :) it seems the glicth dosn't work with 2 ds lites though, only ds lite + dsi.

The switch for sleep mode is behind the ABXY buttons. It's activated by the magnet on the speaker when you close the lid. If you set a magnet in the middle of the buttons, that will put your DS fat/lite/i into sleep mode as well

It works with any of the consoles and a magnet. I can do the same thing with my laptop.
