Normally for new year's I get depressed as I can only say I survived the year, I rarely achieve anything. But to be fair this time I'm rather optimistic. The last few months have been OK for me. New job, got a bit of money kicking around (good job too, that 3DS won't buy itself. More's the shame), and although many of them have left for greener pastures (anything green in this city is rolled up and smoked, including congealed green paint) I still have good friends who care for me.
I made the rather ill-advised announcement on Facebook about 3 hours ago that I intend to re-enter the dating scene. Ever since then Claire won't go to sleep. She's been very talkative ever since. Make of that what you will.

Which one's Claire? Is that the crazy one?
Also, I think most places should be in or approaching 2011 by now.
I know the pricing of electronics nowadays isn't "how much it actually costs" but "how much we can get away with", but putting up a poll is just cynical.
Nah I'm getting value creep again. I look at a $50 console "but for just a few more dollars you could get XYZ" and I end up considering the Steam Deck.
is sega just personally fucking with me? are they laughing while watching me through my kinect camera as i get up to restart my xbox for the third time because the game froze again
