Well, simply put, I think I'm becoming way too paranoid.
It all started with my iPhone- I was attempting to update / jailbreak it but failed multiple times (couldn't get greenpois0n to work).
For some reason, even when I finally succeeded, every little detail that didn't go smoothly made me want to restore, and re-jailbreak.
Finally, I just went "screw it" and have been good with that.
But now, having just recently upgraded my computer and had the technicians install the parts, it all starts again.
Was excited about playing around with my new mobo and i7; I started a fresh 7 Ultimate installation, and things went smoothly until I was updating Windows and it needed to restart. I let it, and it eventually came back to the desktop again.
Then, the screen goes black, then blue with white text, then shuts off. No matter what I did, nothing would come up on the screen, only red lights on the mobo.
I took it back to the shop and the technician says an unexpected shutdown locked up the mobo.
Now, I'm finally getting to downloading my programs back again, but I'm still crazy paranoid...
Every small detail makes me want to re-install the OS whether it be an installation that freezes, or anything else very slightly 'abnormal'.
You guys have any tips for me? I could sure use some reassurance that "nothing is wrong, don't worry about it"..
Like I really need this. It's stressing me out..
Thanks.
