So pissed off right now...

Some of you may know that I went to Hong Kong for vacation in the past few weeks. In those past few weeks, my class had a french test. Just today, I found out that my class utterly failed on teh test, and now we have to redo it, meaning that I have to do it too. No one told me that they had a test, now I have to do a fucking french test that I wouldn't have to do if my class didn't fucking fail.

I want to fuck my class and my french teacher so bad right now.

I must say, I'd fuck your French teacher as well, as long as she's female and hot.

Guess I'm an ass-man then.

EDIT: I would like to know how you'd manage to fuck them all if you have a test to study for though.

But french is easy!
Just kidding. I'm french canadian and I barely pass. But I never heard of a teacher doing that. In what province are you?

Yeah, to have a basic conversation. But our french program is total crap. It is way too advanced for what ANYONE would ever need or want(except those who want to work in a field that somehow involves heavy knowledge of the french language).

you'll get through it

french can be hard

do bad on everything - study hard before exams, ace it and get a good mark

i screwed my semester on french
had a 72 before the exam - highest in class was like a 86
studied hard
ace'd the exam - got the highest mark on exam in my class - something like 136/160
and my mark boosted to just get into the 80's
get a final mark on 80

never even wrote, spoke, or even though of french since last year (grade 9)
now in grade 10 2 weeks till 2nd semester :)

If you suck at french, then you should study for it, as a language, if I recall, is needed to graduate in the Canada school systems.

Thankfully, I managed to graduate without a language. My highest mark in a language was 14%, and that was in French. I think they just wanted to get rid of me.

I don't even bother. I only need a 65 in french to be happy. It's not like it actually mattered. But I usually get around 78 because I can write and read well(which any french canadian should be able to do, but most don't).

Yes, it is needed to graduate. But I don't see why you should bother with getting anymore than 70%

70% is still too high. If anything, 60%. I mean, NOBODY uses french basically. Hell, even majority of the people in Quebec speak English. It's just like in Superbad.

I'm just saying that I wash and dry; I'm like a single mother. Look, we all know home-ec is a joke - no offense - it's just that everyone takes this class to get an A, and it's bullshit - and I'm sorry. I'm not putting down your profession, but it's just the way I feel. I don't want to sit here, all by myself, cooking this shitty food - no offense - and I just think that I don't need to cook tiramisu. Am I going to be a chef? No. There's three weeks left of school, give me a fuckin' break! I'm sorry for cursing.

Maybe in Montréal and Québec City, but outside of largely populated areas, most speak only French.

True
But 60% is all you need, really. Especially if you can balance a lower grade like 60% with a high grade like 90% in some other subject
And even the students at my(french only) school all agree that English as a first language is more useful(though most of them can't speak it well or at all)

What what are you saying? I'm also from MTL.

Which high school are you talking about?

I was in the higher end class of french in Ecole secondaire Mont Royal and it was still the basics added with a few french terminologies and quotes.

I'm talking about the L'Assomption Private College
I didn't say it was hard, I just said we didn't need most of what they teach

why would you ?
well , they failed . simple as that . what grade are you anyway ? if you're still in elementary/middle school , why are you raging so much? it's just french. i had to go through it too , and now i am in highschool . am almost done french for this semester, and after that, i won't have to take it ever again unless i choose to .

of course, with it being another language to learn , i dislike the fact of even having it in my timetable in highschool so now i won't be taking french ever again . instead, i will replace it with Com Tech or Computer Science next year .

Hm. I didn't need to take french, at all.
In fact, I took German in grade 8 and dropped learning a second language altogether.
Though, I live in BC. No where near the frenchies. French immersion is getting a little too popular despite that...

Your what the french call les incompétent

Im from Canada, french blows! Remember that the only thing that matters is grade 12 english, math, and science, and 3 other courses that comprise of your academic standing for university acceptance. As you can tell french wasnt one of my 6 :P

:D

eww french... why do I need that in BC?
Im taking spanish now!!! (and somhow at an A although I hardly do any work and just talk all class and annoy the teacher )

also...
dont you have to take the test anyway even if your class didnt fail?
this
