So my Mrs was cleaning out my air purifier and the bowl needed cleaning. She decided that it would be best to put boiling water into it. So she did and walked off to twitter on the phone to her Mum.
I heard water dripping onto kitchen floor, so I thought "stupid bitch left the tap running in the sink". Nope the boil is melting and the water was just about to fall onto my sleeping cat! So I rushed to remove the cat and my right hand (the one I use the most) got in the way, scolding me in the process.
The cat is unscathed.
My hand is red, burn cream has helped but man it feels like its on fire.
I'm pissed at the Mrs but she promised to "make it up to me later" which I would like the sound of, if it wasn't for this pain.
One thing though I've discovered, I can type fast with one hand. Handy...for something.
