MY THUNDERCATS!

Old Thundercats:

Thundercats-Original.jpg

What is this I don't even:

The show is also very disappointing now. This is easily one of the worst reboots ever, next to that terrible Smurfs movie that I really hope they don't go further with.

Well, looks like this is show number 5672 that went with an anime reboot.

I never watched the original, and I have to say, the new style looks nice to me.

I guess I don't have those nostalgia glasses.

i prefer the old style of animation/concept art of the original. I have to see of the reboot is interesting story/character wise.

I grew up watching the old show and personally I am loving this new just as much.
EDIT: Also Catboy and Thundercats are not connected.

I really don't like the new, at all.

Damn you for your different opinion! Nah, I get that some people will like it. I'm not a fan of the generic art direction though, and I feel like the show has gone down a few steps in terms of entertainment value.

Damn the human brain for being able to think different! I like the new style, it looks better than most of shit that has come out nowadays.

I always liked MUMm-Ra. Is there a picture of the new MUMm-Ra concept art?

I enjoy the art style used in Adventure Time, but that show is just some weird amounts of awesome. I would prefer being a little more original though then just saying "Americans like this generic anime look, right? Right. Ok, lets do it!" We can't always get what we want though.

True, it is the same style and it would have been better to use a different one, but at least it's better than that weird animation that everything on NickToons is using.
@Burton
The Catboy has nothing to do with Thundercats.

I can't like anything about where Nicktoons has gone. I only really watch Spongebob every now and again for the nostalgia and small things I wasn't old enough to pick up on when I was younger. At least Cartoon Network is trying to redeem itself.

The only way Cartoon Network could possibly redeem themselves fully is if they brought back Toonami and it was just like it used to be.

I love the new ThunderCats-as soon as he yelled "Thunder Cats Hoooo!" I felt chills up my spine

I've also been a fan since the original.

Looks good to me. That blue one seem kinda unnecessarily big?

Giving it another watch, it isn't as bad as it seemed at first. Maybe my nostalgia was taking over a little much. Regardless, it's only about 20 minutes in. I'll have to see how I feel in 40 more.

Edit: Oh yeah, the internet is gonna rule 34 the hell out of the new Cheetara.

So did you finish, what you think?

I didn't remember finishing the original, I may go back.

Second impression is better than the first. Don't know if I'll be watching each new episode on TV though, since I don't watch a whole lot of TV (the two hours I put in today is the more than I've watched in the past three weeks). I'm sure some kind soul will be uploading them online.

One thing I forgot to mention, thank goodness Snarf is less, well, Snarfy.

So, I was all like "I'm going to go watch the normal Thundercats!" The show was fairly short (only two seasons), but there were a lot of episodes in each season. Netflix has apparently decided that this is the single old cartoon that they won't try to get onto the Instant service. Thus, I am sad.
