Gorammit

Well there comes a time in every DS owner's life where he or she looses his or her stylus. This sad curse that has afflicted us all has struck once again on my poor 3DS. Before Nintendo used to have the cure for this affliction by packing an extra stylus or two in the box but alas this is not the case with the 3DS. Worse part is... I had it this morning and I think I had it as I came into my house today but when I picked it up just a measly 5 minutes ago the shell in which the stylus lay ever so snugly (HA!) in was empty.

Meh if I don't find it I'll just buy one cheap in Pennslyvannia when I got there later this month for my summer home with the family.

I lost my phat's stylus way back in '05 or '06. It never really bothered me since most games that I played still had D-Pad controls and I could just use my finger, pen cap, or something else if I ever needed.

That's why you just buy a pack or random styluses.
Make sure they're not official Nintendo ones; you don't want Nintendo getting your money for a bad design.

I lost the stylus to my Phat a while ago. I made one out of paper, a cotton swab, and some super glue.

It was more of a make-shift weapon than a stylus in retrospect, it could easily pierce flesh...

On my old DS lite, I lost it. Got a replacement pack which didnt fit in the DS too well.. keep on losing them lol.

3DS - not yet

DSi XL, lost once, but usually I used the large pen stylus anyway.

I have lost my 3DS stylus a couple of times, but I have a bunch of extras from screen protector kits.

I have a four year old niece so yes. My remedy was to just buy a pack of the little buggers from Amazon.

That's why i like the little kit that came free with my 3DS...had a ton of crap in it, including like 4 extra styli.

They're so cheap though, I just keep a ton of them in my drawer.

I haven't lost any of my styluses yet..but i do think it wouldn't hurt if they gave us an extra one incase ("somebody think of the children!!").
However i have bought a 3DS pack with a cleaning cloth, a screen protector and a spare stylus, so there are others out there ;)

I'm 100% positive i got extra stylus for my DS phat and DSi XL
also even if you lose your 3DS stylus they are just the same than DS i guess and piss cheap to buy

I have never lost any of my styluses but I do wish they would have added an extra to the 3DS just in case.

After the pack of 4 extendable metal DSlite styluses I bought on dealextreme two years ago, I've not had to worry about lost/broken styluses.
It was a great addition to the order I was placing. Barely cost me anything.
