Well... over this past summer, I gone through some hard times. Losing a job for the first time (only due to the fact that my school is out of state, and my boss being an ig-bay itch-bay), my laptop dying on me, having to put aside my pride and put up with South Carolina's employment office (or lack-thereof), not being able to hold onto an internship due to lack of transportation, and as I have posted on here before, having to trade my working Xbox 360 and all of my games for a new Laptop I needed due to lack of funds (I have another one though, but it RROD'd on me and with no money and the warranty expired, it is irrelevant for the time being).
Only thing is that, I've kinda grown attached to the damn thing, almost like a post-partum type of sense. It just came on today, a couple minutes ago, but up until then, I was fine with the decision I've made. But with college starting back next week, I kinda want something to do with my downtime besides making music, hanging with friends, doing homework, and extra-curricular activities.
And now... as I cave under the pressures of my economic condition, my gaming demon is taking hold of my soul. I have a confession to make... I have started downloading XBox360 games. I have had my Xbox for 3 years and loved every minute I played with it. Even with the money I had, I was only able to buy a game once a year (twice if I had money left over from my school aid). But now I don't even have that anymore... I'm halfway on earth and halfway in hell. I have been dabbling in the dark arts known as, ...Modding. As I am typing this I am "downloading" games... starting with SSFIV: AE for 360, and planning on getting others.
I'm so sorry, you guys... This android as a corrupt data sector, and the virus is spreading throughout my circuitboard.
But on a brighter note... This laptop I got is handling my music production needs perfectly, and once I get a diverse library created, I'll be able to put my business plan into action. I had been wanting to do this for a while now as music business is my major, now that I have all the tools needed to execute, I hope to have it up and running by the end of the year. *fingers crossed*
