I just scored 2 HP touchpads 16gb :D

if you guys already dont know HP is selling their touchpads really cheap(its a fire sale)

i got two of them over amazon for 99 each plus shipping

one of them is for myself which i will be using in school while the other one is for my dad which i think he wants to sell for profit

if you guys want to get one head over to SD or something... you might get lucky


speaking of school the people im rooming with for the upcoming year bailed on me
its not really a problem for me.. but i really wanted to have SCII and DOTA2(when it comes out) buddies to room with :/

so its either im stuck with people i dont know(which i dont have a problem with, unless they're assholes) or by myself, which isnt really that bad just incredibly lonely :(

well i wont be alone, there will be two other people from the other room, but me in a big room by myself seems pretty depressing

eh more room for my mining rig for bitcoins once i actually make one

still even with that, i cant wait for next month, SF64 3D, new school year, 10 free games for my 3DS, birthday and conclave for a group im in(cookie for the people who know what i'm taking about)(and no its nothing to do with any religion :P)

from what i heard these are gone

and the place where i got it from share the same stock as macmall

and they only had like 4000, those who got them in amazon will get cancelled

hopefully that wont be the case for me :/

Scored a 16GB one from Amazon yesterday; I just can't wait. I really want to try webOS, and I might just go ahead and maybe learn how to develop for webOS itself; Who knows?

Oh, and if Android gets ported, then that's good too.

Really pissed I missed this. I was looking for a basic tablet that I could put college textbook ebooks on but tablets are expensive as fuck for what they are and the laptop screen isn't the most ideal for textbooks. In turn I hate the greedy bastards who bought dozens at once.

Sigh.

I snagged two also!

I saw the sale at Bestbuy in the morning on my phone, and my mom said she saw it in stock the night before.

I didn't really want one that bad, but I went to Bestbuy to see if they had any (Around 4:00), and they laughed at me when I asked if any were left. Apparently they sold out in 5 minutes after the store opened...

Later my brother saw them on Amazon for $99, and he asked if I wanted one. He ordered one for me and one for himself. Like 10 minutes later they were sold out.

I haven't received mine yet, but basically only want it to learn songs in my basement (All my instruments are down there and only have a computer for recording. No internet. So a tablet is nice to look up some quick tabs or whatever).

Only bad thing is... it doesn't run Android obviously! Hopefully there is a way to get it on there though... No clue if that's possible.

for everyone else new shipments of touchpads are supposedly coming in this wednesday, so just refresh this wiki (3rd post down) and sign up to get notified when more are in at HP's site here

Oh, on top of my order being cancelled, Barnes and Noble isn't returning my PayPal funds. I placed the order at 9:44pm PST, August 21st. It took until around three this afternoon to get the cancellation due to them fucking up. It only took about 20 minutes to take my money, but it has taken hours to not give it back.

I'm getting really pissed off now.

Edit: It has still said pending in my PayPal since early this morning when they took the money -

Well, I managed to order on HP's site through a glitch I found. My card has been authorized but not charged. We'll see how this pans out.

If you got it from the Small and Medium Business Store, you are on super backorder right now. Just a solid heads up.
